Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, May 11 Update – Xander’s Tricky Victory – Ava’s Apology Gift – Sonny's Decision

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 11, teases that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will pull off a tricky victory while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) offers an apology gift. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will also want Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) decision, so there’ll be some big things happening in Salem.

At the hospital, Xander will vote to give Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) the authentic antidote.

Now that they’ve verified it’s the real deal, Xander will believe in Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) cure and trust that it can help Sarah.

Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will have a chance to weigh in as well, but DOOL fans know Maggie Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers) is the one in charge of Sarah’s medical decisions.

After Sarah takes a turn for the worse, she’ll be almost catatonic.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will admit that Sarah’s brain activity is declining rapidly, so Maggie will allow the injection – and improvements will quickly follow.

That’ll bring a big win for Xander, who’ll be over the moon when Sarah recognizes him and calls him by name.

Sarah will no longer be a little girl – and she’ll know she’s Sarah instead of some figure of the past like Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler).

Unfortunately, there’ll be one final snag.

Days spoilers say Sarah won’t remember the baby switch and will still believe her little girl is alive, so that twist will throw Xander for a loop later this week.

Until then, let’s talk about some drama happening at the police station.

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will pop in and do his best to lift Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) spirits, so she’ll certainly appreciate seeing a friendly face.

Since Leo wants revenge on Abigail just like Gwen does, he’ll think they should team up to go after her.

Leo will at least want Gwen to think about plotting with him – assuming she can get out of the slammer.

As for how Gwen might get off the hook, there’ll be two offers on the table soon.

One will be from Ava, who’ll feel the need to provide a bit of an apology gift.

Ava threw Gwen under the bus to save herself, but she truly values their friendship and will hope to salvage it.

That could mean orchestrating an escape route for Gwen if she’s willing to take the risk.

However, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will also take pity on Gwen and offer a different kind of help.

That may involve some form of punishment instead of getting off scot-free, but at least it’d be a more legit way out of this jam.

Jack might be able to work out a deal for Gwen, so she’ll eventually have to decide whether to take Jack’s way out of trouble or Ava’s shadier option.

In the meantime, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) seems poised to crash and burn with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Although Gabi will make an intriguing pitch, Jake may not be down for accepting a job from his backstabbing ex – even one as tempting as COO or co-CEO.

Finally, Victor will push Sonny to decide whether he’s in or out.

Days spoilers say Victor will still need someone to slide in the CEO spot at Titan, so will Sonny cave in?

Sonny should be ready to put his concerns aside and go for it, so he’ll suit up and enjoy the perks of sitting on the Titan throne soon.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sonny could show off his ruthless side in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to DOOL!
