General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, May 12 Update – Britt’s Pill News for Spencer – Liz’s Eerie Message

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, May 12, teases that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have some pill news for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has an unexpected encounter. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will also get an eerie message – or at least she’ll be on the verge of getting one before her session goes awry.

At Liz’s house, she’ll keep searching for answers. Although Liz doesn’t want to believe Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is haunting her home and tormenting the family he left behind, she’s keeping an open mind.

Chelsea Lam (Jen Ray) will go deeper and try to help Franco communicate with Liz, so she’ll eagerly await whatever he has to say.

Of course, something tells us there’s been some confusion here. Nothing about this behavior sounds like Franco at all, so there has to be another twist brewing.

Regardless, Liz may not even get a chance to receive the whole message if Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) show up to stop all this.

Finn will indeed relay his fears to Laura since he caught Liz in a lie about staying at Wyndemere.

Laura will express concerns of her own and may agree Liz needs rescuing.

Meanwhile, it looks like Nina will drop by Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment, but Maxie may be off on another date with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).

Nina won’t be able to open up to Maxie, but she’ll be pleasantly surprised when Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is willing to listen instead.

Since Felicia will be babysitting, she’ll let Nina in and surprise her by being cordial.

Felicia can’t condone everything Nina has done, but she can probably understand why Nina wants to fight for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

Plus, Maxie cares a great deal for Nina, so Felicia will want to avoid causing too much drama.

Speaking of drama, there’ll be some of that going down behind closed doors at Spring Ridge.

Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) expects a lot when it comes to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and the scheme she’s supposed to be carrying out.

When Esme shows up complaining, Ryan will assume she’s botched things horribly again.

Esme truly values Ryan’s opinion of her, so she won’t like it when he trashes her mistakes and lack of progress.

However, Esme may promise she can fix this with a little more time to prove herself.

Ryan tends to get violent when he disapproves, so we’ll see if he grabs Esme’s wrist again or worse!

Regardless, Esme is the only real ally Ryan has right now.

Ryan will push Esme to get her act together and make him proud, so she’ll try to speed up the plan to ruin Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Other GH spoilers say Spencer will trust Britt to take care of an important task.

Britt will get updates on the pill Spencer found and should help nail down exactly what it is.

Naturally, Britt may demand to know what’s going on first!

We’ll see if Spencer admits his plot to trap Esme and clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name, but Britt will want at least some form of an answer.

As for what was in that pill bottle, it seems Esme took the label off the Tramadol.

Once Spencer figures out Esme had a strong opioid and handed Trina her mug at the cabin, things could start clicking into place.

At the gatehouse, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will hold Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) responsible for the two of them showing up unannounced.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) just made a shocking discovery when they walked in and found Carly with Drew.

After Drew points the finger at Carly, she’ll take the lead on explaining somehow.

Carly doesn’t like all the tension between Michael and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so she might use that as an excuse for this visit.

Drew may pretend he was recruited to help Michael and Sonny make amends, but Michael will feel like they’re beyond help at this point.

Since Sonny isn’t budging on Nina, Michael isn’t budging on having a bond with his father either.

Once Willow and Michael are alone, they’ll have an in-depth Sonny discussion.

Willow will push Michael to be honest and will think it’s hurting him to push Sonny out of his life entirely.

Although Michael may confess that’s true, he’ll probably stand his ground when it comes to cutting Sonny out – at least until Sonny comes to his senses about Nina.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Michael will have to figure out a way forward sooner or later, but there’ll be more friction in the meantime.
