The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, May 19, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get an emotional John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) reminder after Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) revelation hurts Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
After parting ways with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) at her place, Ridge will face the tough task of bidding Taylor and Steffy farewell.
Although Steffy was hopeful that Ridge would realize where he belonged, Ridge will admit he’s moving out of his daughter’s guesthouse.
Of course, Ridge may acknowledge how wonderful it’s been reconnecting with Taylor and feeling like a united family with the kids.
This has certainly been a dream come true for Taylor, Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but Ridge can’t ignore his lingering love for Brooke.
That love is growing stronger now that Ridge knows the truth about Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) manipulation.
It doesn’t erase Brooke’s New Year’s Eve guilt completely, but it’s definitely shifted Ridge’s perspective and made him more inclined to give her a chance.
Ridge isn’t ready to move back home, but it’ll feel like he’s inching in that direction when he reveals his plan to stay at the Forrester mansion.
Taylor may think her own shot with Ridge is slipping away, but she won’t go down without a fight.
Although Taylor will get why Ridge has this sense of commitment to Brooke, she won’t want him to forget about the “Tridge” spark.
Taylor will speak from the heart and hope Ridge can grasp what she really feels for him.
All of this will leave Steffy battling some tough emotions since she was really rooting for Ridge and Taylor to make it work.
Steffy may not let that hope dim entirely since she needs something positive to cling to right now.
As Steffy continues to mourn, she may see the love Taylor has for Ridge and be reminded of how much Finn loved her, too.
There are Finn reminders everywhere right now, so Steffy will face another one and try to ride the latest rave of grief.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will present a united front against the latest Forrester family drama.
Since Sheila has launched more chaos and Ridge’s love life is as messy as ever, Quinn will stand by Eric’s side during the storm.
That’ll mean a lot to Eric and make him feel even guiltier about the cheating secret he’s keeping under wraps.
Eric will put his Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) affair aside for a bit and concentrate on Quinn, so it could make him see his wife in a new light.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Eric will be able to stay away from Donna indefinitely! Temptation can be a difficult thing, so Eric may remain torn.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will work hard to repair the damage in her marriage, but she has no idea Eric’s been doing some damage of his own!
