The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of May 23-27 teases that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will keep a secret after Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) get closer. Y&R fans will also get a glimpse of Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) scary side, but she won’t be entirely to blame!
At the park, Devon will enjoy his scheduled time with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters (Rainn and River Ware), who’ll be in his stroller.
Abby will run into Devon and Dominic, so that’ll bring some sweet moments for the three of them.
It took some getting used to at first, but Abby has adjusted her family vision and now embraces the idea of Dominic having another father to love him.
Abby and Devon will be glad all the tension is gone as they bond over the baby.
It’ll look like Devon and Abby are growing even closer from Chance’s perspective.
Chance will witness the bonding session nearby and feel like he’s even more of an outsider in the family, but he won’t share that news with Abby.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance will bottle up his feelings, but that’s going to cause problems in his marriage sooner or later.
In the meantime, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will dwell on the loss of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and face a tough setback.
There’s the potential for Chelsea and Chance to do some commiserating since they’ll both be down in the dumps.
Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will also get an introduction to Diane, so they’ll realize they have some things in common.
Since Ashland no longer has access to Harrison, he might view Diane as a potential ticket to spending time with him.
Of course, Diane will meet Harrison for the first time on the May 23 episode, but that’ll bring mixed reactions.
Although Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will approve of how his mother handled the situation, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) still won’t trust Diane at all.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will back Summer up on how untrustworthy Diane is and will drag her daughter into a new plan that could defeat her – that is if Summer agrees to it!
At Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will unleash her wrath and provoke a strong response on Diane’s end.
After Nikki insists Diane only wants Abbott cash and has no real love for Kyle, Diane will slap Nikki to show how she feels.
Nikki will strike Diane across the face as well, but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will pull Nikki out of the fight before it gets ugly.
As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll put Diane in her place and do the same for Ashland – though they’ll both keep carrying out their own twisted agendas.
Kyle will end up having to pay a hefty amount later, so that’ll probably tie in with some issues Diane causes.
Jack will have growing fears about Kyle’s relationship with his mom and the ride she’s taking him on, but this is Kyle’s choice to make!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will work hard to prove she’s changed, but she’ll have to keep the slaps and temper tantrums to a minimum.
