Tonight’s episode begins with Alicia’s followers, they have her, she is on a stretcher resting by the water. June sees her waking up and tells her that she is low on fluids. June tells her the tower is burning. Strand Is still in the building, he didn’t want to leave. Alicia sees a masked girl and says “she heard the message.” She runs and tells Alicia she has to get to Padre. Alicia heads in the same direction. Alicia sees the girl again, she calls out to her. And asks her what she knows about Padre. Alicia looks down at her hand, she freaks out and sees herself turning. Later, Alicia wakes up in a sweat, she is in the MRAP, her hand is cut off, the girl is there and she says she took care of her. Alicia asks why she didn’t stay when she helped her in the woods. Alicia asks her if she is telling the truth that her friend can find Padre, and she says yes. Alicia tells her she is going to die, everyone who gets bit dies. The girl shows her a mark on her arm, she was a bite too and she is still there. She begs her to take her to the tower to find her friend, then they can all go find Padre.
A walker is coming and Alicia goes to kill it and passes out. The girl tells her that she almost got killed. She tells Alyssa that she used to have dreams too and her friend will help her to make them go away.
They arrive at the tower, everything is burning. Alicia tells her they need to go, if they go to the tower they will both die. All of a sudden, Alicia passes out, walkers are coming toward her, but the girl has a hammer and she takes care of them. Alicia is back on a stretcher. June is there, she tells Alicia they wouldn’t leave without her. Dwight is also there, he says he heard her S.O.S. Alicia asks where is she? They don’t know who she is talking about. Daniel and Luciana are also there, Alicia wants them to go with her to the tower to help the girl. They are all having a hard time believing her. She tells them that the girl was bit by a waller and she is ok, she can help her live and she doesn’t want to die. Alicia swears she is real. Daniel says when people doubted him it didn’t feel good, he will go with her, and the rest agree.
Alicia is at the tower, she radios, and the girl answers, she is upstairs. Alicia tells everyone that she is ok now, she has to do this on her own. Luciana says fine, they will meet her at the shore.
Alicia is in the stairwell, it is a long walk up to the top. Once there she sees the girl and is so happy to see her, that she tells her that she doesn’t want to die. She tells Alicia that her friend is in the tower, his name is Victor Strand, she apologizes to Alicia for not telling her sooner. Alicia goes to leave, she says she is going back to the beach. The girl tells her that she knows who Strand is, she can help her find Padre if she helps her save Strand. Alicia tells her that Strand took everything from her.
Alicia passes out, then wakes up and goes inside the tower. She heads someone, it is Strand and he is lying on a bed drunk. He tells her to get out of there, she says she can’t, not now, she is not going to make it. He tells her he is sorry, he wanted to give her everything. She tells him he took everything from her, so many people had to die so she could live. He says he is so sorry for everything. Alicia pulls out her gun, he tells her not to do it. She tells him the gun is not for him, it is for her. She says she is sorry and she thinks back to all the faces she has known and loved. A bird flies on the window ledge and she begs him to leave. Alicia gets up and goes over to the bird and breaks the window to let him out, but can’t, the girl is near her and she does it. Alicia lets the bird go free. The girl takes off her mask, she is a younger version of Alyssa who asks her why she brought her there. She tells her it is all on the tape labeled Amina that she found in the MRAP. Alicia tells her that she is going to die.
At the shore, everyone is getting ready to leave. Luciana looks in the distance at the fire. June tells her they are ready and they can’t miss the tide, Alicia will have to catch up. Luciana shouts out the order, they are showing off. Alicia radios Luciana she tells her that she is at MRAP, she can barely talk and she says she found someone else.
Strand asks Alicia why she saved him, he asks her mother the same thing once and she says she did it because she says she knew who he really was. She tells him that it is not about him, it is about her. She says she doesn’t have much time and she wants him to find a place for everyone else. He calls her name and tells her to stay with him as her eyes are closing. Then we see June, she tells Alicia that her fever is rising. Alicia talks to Morgan on the walkie-talkie, she says she is sorry she didn’t do what she said at the tower. He thinks Padre is real and he thinks they might have someplace to go. He tells her she is going to be alright and he won’t be doing this alone.
Charlie kneels down near Alicia and says goodbye. Daniel knees down and tells Alicia that he will see her again. Alicia refuses to leave, Strand wants her to go with them. She says no, she doesn’t know how long she has until she turns. She says she is staying back in case people heard her message and are heading to the tower. He thanks her for saving him. She pushes his raft into the water. She tells him she loves him too. Alicia falls to her knees, then falls backward.
Alicia wakes up to a bird chirping around her. She reaches into her bag and drinks some water. She notices that she has no fever. She looks up and her younger self is there, and her bite healed, she says it means she saved her. Alicia says she feels like she hasn’t felt in a while, like herself. Alicia tells her that she is going to go find the people that heard her message, to make sure they have somewhere safe to go. Alicia uses her bullet to kill a walker that is coming toward her.
