The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, May 30 Recap – Taylor Pushes Steffy to Leave Town – Eric Fears Marriage Beyond Repair

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, May 30, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) pushed Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to leave town while Eric Forrester (John McCook) feared his marriage was beyond repair. Here’s how all B&B’s latest drama played out.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) told Steffy that he was so sorry for what happened with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Steffy lashed out over why Thomas even kept the secret in the first place, but she didn’t blame Thomas for the double shooting in the alley.

After Steffy talked about how John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was gone forever, she tried to get Thomas to hand her sketches and focus on work. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could tell that Steffy wasn’t really up to working right now, so he pushed her to take care of herself and her family.

Steffy wound up crying about how she didn’t know how to do any of this without Finn. Even though Steffy’s family was there for her, that didn’t replace what she’d lost.

Steffy was also frustrated over everyone looking at her with pity and treating her like she was broken. When Taylor showed up after being summoned by Ridge, that added to Steffy’s frustration.

However, Taylor just wanted to help along with Ridge and Thomas. Steffy didn’t think she would heal, but her loved ones disagreed.

After Steffy apologized for being harsh, she admitted she was just so heartbroken and worried for the kids. Taylor thought that maybe a different perspective would be good, so she suggested Steffy should take the kids and get out of town for a little bit.

Steffy was stunned at the notion and insisted she wasn’t going anywhere, but Taylor argued that Amelia (Nicola Posener) could tag along to help with the children.

Although Steffy acted like Taylor was telling her to run away from her emotions, Taylor clarified that this would offer time and space. It’d give Steffy room to breathe – that way, Steffy wouldn’t face a barrage of visual triggers and memories.

Steffy insisted she didn’t want to get away from those memories. Since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) supposedly had Finn cremated, Steffy pointed out that she never even had a chance to say goodbye.

Taylor tried to comfort Steffy, who wished she could just see Finn one more time. Meanwhile, Li stayed right by unconscious Finn’s bedside and vowed that he’d come back to them one day.

In the design office, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) expressed concern to Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) about Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and promised he wouldn’t let anyone interfere in her marriage.

Quinn downplayed any potential threat, but Carter felt things were easier when he was with Paris – and he pointed out that Paris had been asking to try again. Carter noted that he had a lot in common with Paris, so Quinn reeled as she realized he was thinking of getting back together with her.

Quinn reminded Carter that he said Paris was just a rebound, so he confessed that she was in the beginning. Carter now figured he should want to be with Paris since she was passionate, exciting and available.

Although Carter had been telling himself to be patient, he wondered what he was waiting for. Carter got agitated as he talked about how he could have love and a family with Paris.

Carter felt he needed to move on – and a commitment to Paris would send a message that’d make her stop asking questions about his feelings for Quinn.

In a suite at the beach club, Eric told Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) that he knew he shouldn’t be there with her, but there was no place on earth he’d rather be.

After Eric suggested part of him would always love Quinn, he admitted he hoped that’d be enough and that they could rebuild trust.

Unfortunately, Eric didn’t think he’d been honest with himself. That led to Eric confessing how Quinn’s affair ruptured his marriage in a way that he thought was irreparable.

Eric felt that was why he kept coming back to Donna over and over again. Nothing about this felt wrong to Donna, who kissed Eric passionately and wanted him any way she could get him.

That said, Donna didn’t want to add to the stress of Eric’s life, so she pushed him to be honest and tell her if he wanted this to end.
