General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, June 9, teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will derail Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) plan while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) presumably delivers some Maggie Fitzgerald search news. Brando Corbin (temporarily played by Brad Schmidt) will also want answers, so some shockers are ahead.
By the Metro Court pool, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will urge Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to take charge of her own life and get her power back.
Britt may find that to be surprisingly good advice, even if she’s still miffed at Cody over her drenched debacle.
Over with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), he’ll hope to get approval votes from Sam and perhaps Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
That could involve the latest Society setup event and the possibility of more.
GH spoilers say Sam will have some updates for Carly, who’ll certainly be eager to hear them.
Although Sam has a secret pact with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), she can still share info he’s passed along without revealing he’s behind it.
Sam may bring up Maggie Fitzgerald, the nanny who was close to Esme once upon a time.
Esme has still been in touch with Maggie, so Sam has presumably been doing some digging and perhaps has a way to contact her.
Maggie could be a key player in Esme’s storyline moving forward, but let’s talk about some other drama in the meantime.
Spencer groveled to Esme in hopes of continuing his scheme, so he was willing to do whatever it took to fix things between them.
Based on Esme’s blissful mood on Thursday’s episode, there’s a chance that included hitting the sheets.
Spencer didn’t like the idea of making love to Esme considering all the horrible things she’s done to his friends, but he may have had no other option.
Regardless, we can’t forget about Esme’s recent romp with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) either.
Nikolas certainly hasn’t forgotten, so there’ll be some awkwardness when he’s in the same room with Esme, Spencer and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Esme will pipe up about love being all around and act like it’s so wonderful that both romances are back on track.
We may see Esme lay it on thick and mess with Nikolas a bit since he’ll be feeling so guilty.
That guilt will also lend to some pensive moments where Ava struggles to get Nikolas’ attention.
Ava will realize Nikolas is distracted, so she’ll encourage him to confide what’s troubling him.
Nikolas will have to make up an excuse since he can’t be honest with Ava on this.
As much as Nikolas will hate lying, he’ll feel he has no choice since the alternative would mean provoking Ava’s fury.
Ava would blow her top if she knew Nikolas cheated with Esme, so Nikolas will hope he can contain this explosive secret.
Ryan, on the other hand, may question why Esme delayed the big reveal.
Esme’s set to have a meeting with Ryan before the week’s over, so that could bring a disagreement about how she handled the aftermath of her hookup.
Ryan may be eager to drop the bomb that Ava’s husband betrayed her, but Esme is dragging this out.
Perhaps Ryan will suspect Esme has the hots for Nikolas and try to keep Esme focused on their vengeful scheme instead.
However, Esme may make a pitch for this to be a long-game strategy – one that does the maximum damage at the worst possible time.
If Nikolas and Ava’s vow renewal plans get underway again, that could become the perfect place for total marriage destruction.
Back with Spencer, he’ll land on the hot seat with Ava. Since Ava will think Spencer’s got some tricks up his sleeve, she’ll push him to spill what he’s really up to.
At the gallery, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will get some comforting words from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Joss will remind Trina her future at PCU hasn’t been for sure derailed yet – and Trina’s trial hasn’t been decided either.
Trina will still have trouble imagining the next chapter when she’s stuck under this cloud Esme brought on her.
Thankfully, Josslyn will get some backup when Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) arrives and offers some support of his own.
Across town, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) will insist she’s not on drugs again.
It looks like the pills that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) panicked over were something non-habit forming. They might’ve even been vitamins, but Gladys will remain worried about Sasha anyway.
The same goes for Brando, who may find out about the shoes that were delivered for Liam Corbin and Sasha’s crushed reaction.
Will Gladys also convince Sasha to come clean about her recent relapse? Time will tell, but Brando will have reasons to worry fret over Sasha no matter what.
General Hospital spoilers say Brando will do his best to help Sasha, but he needs all the facts first!
