The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, June 14 – Adam’s Promotion Day – Victor’s Next Step – Nate’s Speech Goes Too Far

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, June 14, tease that it’ll be Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) promotion day, so Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take the next step in his latest plan. Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) speech will also go too far, so let’s discuss what’s brewing.

For starters, Victor will deliver some huge news to Adam, whose CEO wish will finally be granted. Adam has been hoping for this moment, but he’ll still be surprised by how fast all this comes together for him.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) decided to vacate the throne, so Victor intends to put Adam on it in her place.

Of course, Victor also suspects Victoria won’t be able to stand the idea of her brother being in charge – meaning he expects her to come running back home.

Adam is being used as bait, but he may not mind – even if it becomes obvious that’s what Victor is up to. Since Adam knows Victoria is smitten and completely against her family at this point, he won’t think she’ll be serious competition anymore.

Victoria seems to have turned a real corner when it comes to standing against most of the Newmans. Victor may not get the reaction he was hoping for, especially not with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) right by Victoria’s side to support her.

Putting Adam back in the CEO seat is Victor’s next step in fighting for Victoria’s future, but he’ll have even more steps in store. Victor will eventually start plotting ways to undermine Victoria and Ashland’s romance, so they’re going to face some challenges.

Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have yet another run-in with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so that’ll give Diane a chance to get under her enemy’s skin. Diane will stir the pot and leave Nikki fuming by the time they part ways.

As for Nate, he’ll gear up for a big gamble at the Chancellor-Winters launch party. Instead of going along with Devon’s plans for the evening, Nate will trust his instincts and Imani Benedict’s (Leigh-Ann Rose) not-so-great guidance.

That means Nate will go off script when it’s time for his speech. Nate will create some extra buzz by announcing the 50 podcasts they have in the works at their new division.

While that buzz may be a good thing on the surface, it could also do some damage if they can’t deliver what Nate promises or the competition gains an edge.

Regardless, Devon wanted to play it safe, so he won’t appreciate Nate dropping a party bomb and disrespecting his wishes.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may object to Nate’s behavior as well, but Y&R could bring the drama another way if she sides with Nate later. Devon and Lily could end up clashing, so Nate’s going to make a real mess any way you slice it.

We’ll offer updates as other Y&R details emerge. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chancellor-Winters will get hit with some hurdles, so stay tuned. CDL will have other fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
