The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could create a new fashion house for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Will Adam offer a Newman expansion to compete with Jabot’s Marchetti?
Adam will certainly want to keep up with the competition now that Jabot’s Marchetti acquisition is officially happening.
Jabot is getting back into fashion, so this presents a unique opportunity for Adam as he reclaims the Newman throne.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) unceremoniously cut the fashion platform, which led to Adam giving Sally a job as COO of Newman Media.
Sally is poised for a promotion to CEO there as Adam becomes top dog at Newman Enterprises once again.
However, Sally’s passion has always been fashion, so Adam may recognize that her talents aren’t being used to their full potential here.
Adam is dating the perfect person to help with a fashion expansion and truly compete with Jabot’s Marchetti plans.
Of course, Sally’s recent run-in with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) could be setting up a fierce fashion rivalry.
Summer is looking forward to a collaboration with Chelsea and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) through their work at Fenmore’s, which already has a partnership with Jabot.
The show will surely find ways to keep pitting Sally against this crew, so the idea of a Newman fashion house makes sense.
Adam would thrill Sally if he allowed her to rise to the challenge on a new project that she truly loved.
There has to be some fashion angle cooking up for Sally if she’s going to stay in Chelsea, Summer and Kyle’s orbit.
Now that Adam’s taking the reins back at Newman Enterprises, he’d take great pleasure in going against Victoria on this.
Victoria no longer saw the value in the fashion platform, but Adam may think they need to take things a step further with a major fashion division or a full-blown fashion house.
As for who would run Newman Media, maybe Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) could step up to fill that leadership role.
There’s already been buzz about Nick perhaps taking a more active role in the family business again.
Regardless, Sally may have her hands full with fashion drama soon – at least if Adam makes her wildest dreams come true and recruits her for an exciting expansion.
