General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, June 16, teases that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will deliver alarming news while Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) big blunder brings backlash. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) first date will also bring some fun, so here’s what GH viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will stumble across Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) soaking wet in the Metro Court pool.
It looks like they’ll technically be closed, but Drew will joke around about Carly bending the rules for him.
Since Carly had a fight with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) earlier, she’ll be glad for the opportunity to vent.
Drew always offers support when Carly needs it, so he’ll listen to her troubles and dish out some good advice.
As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she may find herself feeling like Sonny’s fallback woman since he kissed her after sparring with Carly.
Nina is more than just Sonny’s backup option, so he’ll have to convince Nina of that.
After Nina questions Sonny’s motives and gets reassurance, she’ll confess to being surprised by Sonny’s actions.
Sonny touched Nina’s face tenderly in the courtroom after Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) attacked Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) on the stand – and Carly witnessed that moment.
Perhaps Sonny will bring that up and cause Nina to admit it caught her off guard, too.
However, Sonny gets that Nina was fighting hard for a spot in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) life and can’t blame her for that.
Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll continue to feel sorry for herself. To be fair, things will indeed get worse for Britt in the form of unwanted attention.
Britt’s viral moment may have an extended shelf life due to some news story or other form of it spreading.
At The Savoy, Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker game won’t go according to plan.
Ms. Wu considers Linc Brown (Dan Buran) to be a very influential player and is treating him as her special guest, but some problems are on the horizon.
Brook Lynn should create some drama by poking her nose where it doesn’t belong, so that’ll lead to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) scolding her later.
As far as Chase is concerned, Brook Lynn will make the Linc situation even worse.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) also showed up with a bunch of newly acquired cash thanks to blackmailing Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
That could leave Cody in the prime position to go up against Linc and make a mess of Selina’s poker night.
Brad will sound the alarm to Selina after this poker game heads downhill fast.
It sounds like Selina may blast Brad for letting things get out of hand and try to clean up the mess.
Speaking of things getting out of hand, that’s what just happened at the bar Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are stuck at.
Trina and Josslyn won’t be able to avoid the police since a cop car just drove up outside.
There’s a chance Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will pop up and become part of all this.
Whether it’s Rory on duty or another cop, Josslyn will insist she’s the only one who should do down over the fake IDs.
Trina doesn’t need to add to her criminal record, so Joss will hope to get busted on her own while Trina goes free.
We’ll see if Trina manages to get off the hook, but some stressful moments are brewing no matter what.
Meanwhile, Valentin will hope to charm Anna on their official first date and make himself useful. There’ll be a car ride and perhaps a little sleuthing on the side.
Anna will continue to fall hard for Valentin, but she won’t realize he’s hiding the French captain truth and some deeper secrets regarding Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Valentin is sitting on a ticking time bomb since Anna isn’t going to like all the shockers he’s lying about.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will have some explaining to do down the road, but he’ll try to impress Anna until then.
CDL will have other thrilling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
