The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 22, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make a bold move to save Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) makes a surprising discovery.
Y&R fans know Victor wants to bring Victoria home and shut down this new life she’s building with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
As part of that plan, Victor has named Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) CEO and is hoping to provoke Victoria into a Genoa City return.
Of course, that means Victor has to make a big splash with this CEO news and get Victoria jealous of Adam landing on the throne.
It looks like Victor will arrange some press and an interview to promote Adam taking over the top spot.
Whatever the case, Victor will want to be bold about this and will expect support from the remaining Newmans in town.
However, Victoria will make a move of her own when she gets in touch with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and casually mentions pursuing contacts in New York.
Victoria will leave a little trail for Nick to follow and make him realize his sister is building a new empire.
Once Nick realizes Victoria intends to go up against Newman Enterprises, he’ll give Victor updates – just like Victoria had in mind.
Victor will gather information and plot against Victoria’s venture later this week, but Victoria will be pleased with herself in the meantime.
When it comes to Adam and this CEO change, Victoria will think he’s just going to screw it up and won’t really be bothered.
Next, Lily will make a discovery that catches her off guard.
There’ll be some intriguing find for Lily to mull over, so we’ll see if this brings more romantic drama with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) or perhaps adds to the friction between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Over with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’s about to get an amazing job offer.
Chelsea will soon find out that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) want her to be Marchetti’s new designer.
With Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) on board, the only real problem here may be Chelsea’s partnership with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickon).
Since Chelsea and Chloe function as a team right now, Chloe may feel like her bestie is leaving her in the dust!
