General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may reel over fake “Daddy” Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) scam. It’s looking like Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will be revealed as Esme’s bio father – putting him in the prime position to save his daughter from danger.
In GH’s June 20 episode, Esme had hereditary concerns about Ryan, but there’s a good chance she’s not related to him at all.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) warned Esme that Ryan could manipulate people into believing whatever he wanted, so it seems obvious Ryan has manipulated Esme into believing that he’s her father.
Esme is in for a shock when she realizes she’s been doing Ryan’s dirty work for no reason.
The show’s setting Esme up for a life-changing revelation that’ll rock her world.
It seems like Esme’s obsession with Ryan stems from her desire to feel wanted and accepted.
Esme always wants to please Ryan, even if she goes against him sometimes and has to smooth things over.
There have been plenty of hints about Ryan turning on Esme once she’s served her purpose.
Esme would be in danger even if she were truly Ryan’s flesh and blood, but she’ll be in even more danger if she isn’t.
There’ll be absolutely nothing to keep Ryan from plotting to kill Esme if he’s not really connected to her.
However, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is now cooking up a plan to find Esme’s birth parents, which could actually help Esme rather than hurt her.
Spencer wants to take Esme down, but he could end up exposing the whole truth with Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) help.
Will Victor’s contacts help him figure out that Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are Esme’s biological parents?
Victor might keep that news to himself if he thinks he can use it to his advantage somehow, but the real story has to come out eventually.
When it does, Mac may land in a situation where he has to come to Esme’s rescue and prevent her death at Ryan’s hands.
Perhaps that Mac showdown in Ryan’s fantasy could be a hint about one that’s brewing in reality.
This could become a battle of the dueling daddies – one between Esme’s fake father and her real one!
Esme may ultimately have the opportunity to feel genuine love from a great dad like Mac, so could that change who she is at her core?
Will Esme turn from her wicked ways with guidance or always remain a schemer?
