Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 22, teases that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) feud will explode while Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) fears the worst. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will also face a tough task, so here’s what Days fans can expect.
Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) tried to let Paulina take the fall for shooting TR Coates (William Christian), but that plan obviously didn’t work out very well.
Since Lani sees TR’s “ghost” every time she turns around, there’s no way she could go on like this indefinitely.
As a result, Lani just blurted out an admission of guilt at the wedding reception.
On Wednesday’s DOOL episode, desperate Paulina might pipe up to insist Lani should stop and act like her daughter’s just trying to protect her.
In reality, it’s the other way around since Lani’s bio mom was trying to spare her from prison.
Paulina was hoping to face the consequences instead, but she’ll fear the worst once Lani sticks to her confession and ultimately wants to make a formal one.
Eli will hate that Lani’s blowing things up, but he’ll try to understand once she explains her perspective.
Lani genuinely tried to go along with Paulina’s idea, but she couldn’t live under the crushing weight of what she did – especially not with TR “haunting” her constantly.
Since Lani will want to give her statement to the Salem PD, Eli should face the difficult task of escorting her there. Lani will get arrested soon, so Paulina will have some explaining to do as well.
Paulina could be in hot water for giving a false statement and obstructing justice.
There’s also the matter of lying to Abe again, but he should get why Paulina would go this far to protect their daughter.
Paulina will worry about Lani’s future now that she’s ready to spill the real story to the cops.
Eli will have concerns of his own, but he’ll step up for Lani when it counts and make sure she feels supported.
Other Days spoilers say Julie will swoop in with some grand plan, so she may try to distract everyone and get the party back on track for a bit.
That might allow Lani to have some privacy as she deals with all the legal drama.
As for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), she’ll meet back up with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and feel drawn to him once more.
Nicole and Eric definitely aren’t over each other, so all these close moments will only add to the pain of being apart romantically.
Johnny and Allie are facing some romantic issues of their own since they’re in love with the same woman.
Since Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) still hasn’t chosen a twin to build a future with, Allie and Johnny will continue to clash.
Chanel will no doubt be upset over this situation with Lani, so Johnny and Allie may fight over who should comfort her.
It could lead to Chanel lashing out and telling both twins to back off if they can’t get along!
