There was a lot of tense buildup leading to the exposure. In fact, it was expected that Quinn would explode.
After all, she physically went after Donna when she learned that Donna used her personal honey stash to help Eric with his dysfunction.

This spoiler seemed like an odd addition to the dramatic teasers that were released. So, that must mean that Donna telling Brooke about Eric doesn’t go as expected.
Perhaps Brooke gets jealous. After all, Donna was getting love while Brooke was hiding in her mansion pining after Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Maybe Brooke gets angry because she could have used Donna’s support through all the drama during the past few months.
