Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 14, reveals that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) dumped EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) after eavesdropping – and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) sobbed to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) also decided he was done with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), so here’s how all the Days drama played out.
At the pub on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Kate came clean to Roman about how long she’d known about Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) kidnapping Sami.
Although Kate tried to explain herself, Roman declared they were done and told Kate to take her things from upstairs before she left.
At the DiMera mansion, Sami assumed the bra belonged to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and pushed her to come out of hiding.
Belle eventually came out instead, so Sami blew her top – though EJ argued she didn’t get a say in this since they were no longer married.
Sami snapped that Belle only slept with EJ to get back at her and stormed out, so EJ followed her.
That led to EJ realizing Sami wouldn’t have shown up there unless something big went down.
Sami explained the Lucas kidnapper confirmation and invited EJ to gloat, but he was sympathetic despite being glad the wedding didn’t happen.
After EJ reflected on how Lucas derailed their reunion, he moved in close.
Sami insisted it couldn’t happen now and remained crushed over him sleeping with her sister, so Belle looked uneasy as she listened nearby.
Once Sami took off, EJ returned to Belle and found her getting dressed. Belle admitted she was wrong to think this could ever work.
Between EJ’s feelings for Sami and her sister’s pain, Belle knew they couldn’t have a real romance.
That said, Belle appreciated EJ being there for her when she needed him – and he smiled over the moments they had shared together.
Over with Allie and Will Horton (Chandler Massey), they debated whether Lucas could’ve killed Abigail before parting ways.
Allie decided she should find Sami while Will went to the police station to be with Lucas.
After Allie met back up with Sami at the townhouse, she assured her mother that it was OK to fall apart right now.
Sami sobbed on Thursday’s Days episode and accepted Allie’s comforting hug.
At the Salem PD, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) dragged Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) out of the interrogation room and warned him not to interfere with the investigation.
After Chad filled Rafe in on everything, the police commissioner ultimately asked Lucas whether he killed Abigail.
Lucas couldn’t remember since he wasn’t sober that night.
While Will had a tense encounter with Chad, Nicole overheard Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) on a troubling phone call and could tell something was wrong.
Eric gave Nicole the scoop on all the wedding mayhem, so she reeled over all the revelations and accusations regarding Lucas.
