The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 19, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will call out the breakup scheme after Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) blames his girlfriend for his Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) problems.
Adam has a plan to keep Sally in charge at Newman Media, but he’ll struggle to pull it off due to their deep connection.
Sally will immediately sense that something’s off when Adam wants to dump her out of the blue.
Since Sally will be skeptical, Adam will really get nasty with her.
We’ll see Adam accuse Sally of being the reason he’s lost Victor’s respect.
Adam will act like Sally is the one standing in the way of everything he wants and the life he’s dreaming of.
Although Sally will be hurt by Adam’s callous comments, they’ll also make her more convinced he’s lying.
Sally just won’t think Adam would be this cruel to her unless he had a good reason.
After Sally draws the conclusion that Adam is doing this because of the Newman Media CEO job, she’ll plead with him to drop the act.
Adam will face a difficult decision, so he’ll have to determine whether he’s going to commit to the lie even further or admit Sally is right.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll hear about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) playing the hero in the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) restraining order drama.
That’ll leave Phyllis fuming since Diane has a habit of making herself look good to the Abbotts.
The closer Diane gets to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), the closer Diane could get to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as well.
Although Phyllis claims to be done with Jack, she still doesn’t want Diane to win!
Besides, Phyllis is sick and tired of looking at Diane’s face by now, so she’ll want her out of town no matter what.
Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will focus on a new revenge plot in Tuesday’s episode.
Since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) thinks there are buried secrets from Diane’s time in Los Angeles, maybe Phyllis can help her dig.
Regardless, Nikki and Phyllis will gain another ally in Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) – though Jack won’t be pleased when he realizes his sister’s trying to undermine Kyle’s bond with Diane.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will remain incredibly protective of his mom, so this Diane alliance will have to proceed with caution.
