General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) escape from Port Charles will be derailed. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will block the schemer in a wild showdown, so here’s what we know so far.
Ava already offered Esme a get-out-of-jail-free card by insisting she could name the magic number it’d take to get her out of town.
Esme was skeptical about Ava letting her off the hook without justice, but Ava suggested she’d give money and a ticket going anywhere else.
All Ava wanted in return was a signed confession, but Esme refused to admit her guilt or accept the deal.
However, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will hope for better luck when he proposes a similar deal to Esme.
By dangling the prospect of meeting her birth mother in front of her, Spencer will hope Esme won’t be able to resist.
Unfortunately, Spencer is missing a crucial piece of the puzzle – and that’s Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Esme will eventually seek Ryan’s help, so she may take what she learns from Spencer about her supposed bio mom and wonder if it really adds up.
Ryan may insist Esme is being played for a fool and urge her to get a grip on the situation while she still can.
There’ll be more bartender drama for Esme to contend with, so GH spoilers say she’ll have a lot going on in the coming episodes.
During the week of July 25-29, Esme will prepare to leave Port Charles, so she’ll clearly think there’s nothing left for her after the walls close in.
Maybe Esme will take Ava’s deal after all – only to learn Ava actually has no intention of letting her get off scot-free.
On the other hand, Esme may fear she’s blown all the offers and just want to get the heck out of dodge!
There could be some situation where Esme just tries to slip away undetected and gets caught by Ava before she can.
No matter how this plays out, it’s building to a major faceoff that will turn explosive.
Wigs were used during filming, so that points to stunt doubles being used.
Things are obviously going to get physical, so we won’t be surprised if Esme gets thrown off the parapet, tumbles off the docks or lands in some other dangerous situation.
Regardless, something tells us the truth about Esme and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) hookup will come out in the midst of all this.
There’s no way Esme’s going to keep quiet about the one thing that would hurt Ava the most, but you can bet Ava will make her pay the price!
