The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally Leans On Nick’s Strong Shoulder – Adam’s Actions Bring Romantic Shakeup?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will lean on Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) strong shoulder, so Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) actions will bring his brother’s surprising new bond.

Thanks to Adam’s cruel breakup plan, Sally will struggle to pick up the pieces of her broken heart.

Could Nick emerge as another romantic option? Time will tell, but Nick will at least become a confidant who’s willing to offer advice.

Nick thankfully realizes the value Sally brings to the table after her emotional speech in the July 19 episode – causing him to defend Sally to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and fight for her job.

It looks like Nick is becoming Sally’s new hero, so there’s the potential for this connection to grow.

Adam certainly won’t approve if Nick and Sally get too close for comfort!

During the week of July 25-29, Nick will offer Sally some guidance.

Although Sally won’t ask for it, Nick will think she could use some and offer it anyway.

That could involve some advice about not getting tangled back up in Adam’s twisted web of pain.

Regardless, Nick will tell Sally what he feels she needs to hear and perhaps gain her appreciation.

There’s the potential for an intriguing, complicated romance if Sally falls for Nick next.

Nick would have to put aside how Sally sabotaged Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), but everyone deserves a chance to prove they’ve grown and changed.

Can you imagine Summer’s reaction if Nick started dating Sally?

Adam would also be furious over his brother pursuing a Sally romance – and the rest of the Newmans wouldn’t be thrilled either.

There’d be a lot of great places to go with a Sally and Nick romance if Y&R writers took advantage of this opportunity.

Of course, this bond could be as simple as Nick understanding Sally’s struggles and wanting to help, but a friendship or something close to it should indeed form.

Adam could easily witness a tender moment and seethe with jealousy, but it’s his own fault for pushing Sally away.

Although Adam’s breakup motive was to help Sally keep her job, that’s not a good enough reason to absolutely crush her like this.

Nick will be there for Sally when she truly needs someone, so that has to count for something!
