General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, July 20 Recap – Britt Flips Over Cody Wanting Kids - Sonny’s Revenge on Sasha’s Dealer

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 20, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) plotted revenge on Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) dealer while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) flipped over Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) wanting kids.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) found Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who was trying to contact Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and make sure he didn’t miss his debut.

Michael and Willow confessed to forgetting about open mic night, which led to them admitting their baby news as well.

Since Brook Lynn thought this gave them a reason to celebrate, Willow and Michael promised to attend.

After a phone call to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) proved pointless, Cody decided he was on his own when it came to impressing Britt.

Once Britt arrived at the stables, she seemed annoyed over Cody ordering from the Metro Court for her.

Britt also wasn’t thrilled about having dinner outside under the stars.

When Britt turned down the chance to meet Comet, Cody acted like you might as well be dead if you weren’t open to new experiences.

Britt decided there was some truth to that, but she got frustrated since Comet seemed to hate her – at least in Britt’s opinion.

Cody pushed Britt to stop being so stubborn and try getting to know each other.

Their attempt led to Britt calling Cody boring since his answers were rather dull over dinner.

Cody acted like he wanted to settle down with someone he could grow old with and have a couple kids.

That affected Britt due to her Huntington’s disease marker diagnosis, so she flipped out and said they weren’t a good match.

Cody finally blurted out that he didn’t really want kids, but he was open to them if his wife did.

Britt accused Cody of telling her what he thought she wanted to hear and questioned his agenda.

At the boxing gym, Chase worked out to avoid open mic night and filled Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in on Brook Lynn’s plan to dupe Linc Brown (Dan Buran).

After Chase got a flood of angry messages from Brook Lynn, he approached her on The Haunted Star and acted like he was going to back out.

However, a run-in with disgusting Linc changed Chase’s mind since he wanted to help Brook Lynn nail the guy.

Once Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) sang, it was ultimately Chase’s turn to belt out a tune.

Chase wowed the crowd with his popstar debut and impressed Linc, who wondered if Chase ever thought about a music career.

Nearby, Brook Lynn smirked knowing that their plan was working.

Next, Spinelli cornered Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) on their date, so Maxie privately accused him of stalking her.

Spinelli thought that was preposterous, but he hinted that Austin wasn’t her perfect match.

Maxie thought that was for her to decide and seemed pleased when Spinelli at least tried bonding with Austin over a Star Trek movie.

After Austin received a text summoning him to the deck, he found a mystery man and acted like he already warned him in Pautuck.

Austin was incensed over this guy showing up in Port Charles and demanded to know what he was doing there.

At GH, Sasha was grateful for the clothes and toiletries Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) brought, but she was adamant about going home tonight – not to rehab.

Sasha insisted she wasn’t addicted and told Nina her plan for outpatient therapy. Nina wasn’t trying to force her into anything, so Sasha was relieved.

After Sasha opened up about how real that hallucination of Liam Corbin felt, she admitted wishing she could live in that mirage.

Nina understood since she lost her own daughter twice and comforted Sasha as she cried.

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) leaned on Sonny for support and offered up Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer’s name.

Sonny planned to have a little talk with Felty to shut down his drug deals, so Brando wanted in on that talk.

After Sonny put Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to work finding Felty, he reminded him to just follow orders.

Brando realized Sonny planned to work fast, so he decided to stay behind for Sasha and trust that Sonny would take care of this.

Once Brando met back up with Sasha, she seemed nervous about what he’d been doing. Sasha knew that Brando was worried about her going home too soon.

Brando promised he wouldn’t do anything behind Sasha’s back and got her reassurance that the 72-hour hold was the right call, so they shared a kiss.

When Dex located Felty, he called Sonny with updates. Sonny told Dex that he knew what to do and made it clear that he was on his way.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will show off his power soon, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH.
