The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may spy for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) cheating evidence since she clearly doesn’t trust Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) man.
After clashing with Chelsea, Sally learned about her new partnership with Billy in the July 22 episode.
That left Sally fixated on Billy and Chelsea’s podcast collaboration, which she found rather odd.
Sally also wondered to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) what Lily thought about that partnership, so the wheels are already turning.
Since Sally seems to have a bad feeling about where Chelsea and Billy’s collaboration is headed, what will she do next?
Sally might find herself in a position to help Lily out.
After everything that’s happened with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) lately, Sally may feel like she needs to protect Lily from heartbreak.
Of course, Sally would also love the chance to rock the boat for Chelsea.
Perhaps Sally will think she can do a good deed by proving Chelsea is trouble and convincing Lily to shut this down.
If Chelsea suffers in the process, that’s even better.
Y&R fans will recall that Sally has spied on Billy in the past. Who could forget Sally’s ridiculous disguises and how she got busted by Billy?
Maybe Sally could give her spy games another shot with a little more stealth this time.
It’s easy to imagine Sally getting up to her old tricks and using her phone to film Chelsea with Billy.
Could Sally catch Billy and Chelsea looking a bit too close for comfort?
Sally might even get some full-blown cheating proof if she sticks with the mission long enough.
Since Sally acted concerned for Lily’s sake, she might ultimately present a scandalous video or some steamy pics.
One way or another, Sally may offer up some evidence that leaves Lily doubting Billy’s commitment to her.
Lily might dump Billy if he goes too far or at least demand he end this Chelsea collaboration.
It all depends on how horrible the potential proof is, but Sally could easily land in a situation where she can get some. As other Y&R details emerge, we’ll deliver updates.
