General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, July 26, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will warn Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to back off Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) shares a plan to make things up to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also deliver an ultimatum, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will get the feeling that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is holding out on her.
After Jordan pushes Curtis to tell her what she should know, he may admit his belief that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) drugged Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) to shut him up.
Now Oz is in a medically induced coma and unable to identify Esme as the one he sold the phone to.
Curtis will reveal something that leaves Jordan questioning his motives, but they’ll eventually get on the same page and team up to make sure Esme goes down despite this setback.
Over with Spencer, he’ll be dressed for court when he pushes Esme to remember what’s at stake.
Spencer will give Esme an ultimatum and push her to figure out how to set Trina free before it’s too late.
Of course, Spencer has cooked up this fake birth mother proof and will continue to dangle that in front of Esme, who’ll get a reminder that Trina’s freedom is the price of a family reunion.
As for Rory, he’ll feel guilty over having to rat Trina out on the stand.
Rory was forced to admit Trina was at the bar with Josslyn, but Trina certainly doesn’t blame him for telling the truth – especially since he tried to minimize the damage.
Even so, Rory will promise to make things up to Trina if she’ll let him.
Perhaps Rory will offer a date just as soon as Trina’s name is cleared and try to give her some hope.
Next, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will remind Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) that the divorce is off as the conversation gets tense.
It’s clear that Nikolas is on edge over Esme and his desperate attempts to keep her from blabbing about their hookup.
Once Josslyn meets up with Carly, they’ll discuss how she filmed Sonny and threatened to turn the incriminating video over to the cops.
Carly acted like she didn’t particularly care when Sonny griped to her, but she’ll indeed end up trying to steer Joss away from justice.
Josslyn may admit that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) already convinced her to delete the footage, but she’ll still be fed up with Sonny’s mob behavior and won’t see why she should pretend it isn’t happening.
Carly may understand Josslyn’s frustration and argue that she doesn’t have to pretend.
However, it’s wise to back off Sonny for Donna Corinthos (Ava Rose) and Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) sake – not to mention it’ll just be better for everyone’s safety in general.
Finally, Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a brutally honest conversation.
Things will be strained as Sonny perhaps points out that he’s always going to be connected to Carly.
There are just certain parts of Sonny and Carly’s old life together that he’ll never be able to shake.
“You can’t deal with that? This is not gonna work!” Sonny says in Tuesday’s GH preview video.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Carly will have to decide where they go from here, so don’t miss what’s ahead!
