Since Billy and Chelsea have a fun vibe on the air, they’re counting on that to keep the listeners engaged.
Of course, it’s easy to imagine this sparking all kinds of comments about their romantic relationship and whether they might’ve renewed it.
Listeners could start rooting for Billy and Chelsea to reunite – leaving Lily feeling insecure and on the outside of all this.
Billy has felt like an outsider for quite some time, so it might be Lily’s turn.
However, Lily will be in a position to change her circumstances if she chooses to.
Since Lily is CEO, she could fire Chelsea from this co-host role and try to take over.
Lily might pitch a new direction involving couples who work together and play together.
Maybe Lily could act like listeners would want to hear how she balances her personal and professional relationship with Billy.
Lily might also suggest that people would like hearing from Billy’s actual girlfriend instead of his former flame.
Perhaps Lily could even sell this as a way to tease new projects as a CEO and COO duo.
Unfortunately, Billy might blast Lily for trying to take over the one thing that makes him happy at work right now.
This is the kind of thing that could cause a major blowup in Lily and Billy’s romance.
Whatever the case, Billy’s podcast with Chelsea can only end in disaster, so Lily might take steps to kill that project and replace it with her own idea.
