Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, July 26 Recap – Rafe’s Jealousy Explodes – Ava’s Bad Omen – Gwen Hallucination Rocks Sarah

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 26, reveals that Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) jealousy exploded while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) received a bad omen ring. A Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) hallucination also rocked Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), so here’s how Tuesday’s DOOL action played out.

At Basic Black, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) insisted she was now the executive in charge of the division – and as Kristen’s first executive decision, she said Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) was fired.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) protested that Kristen couldn’t override the personnel choices he made with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) based on their contracts.

Kristen confessed she was just having some fun – though she could make Chloe’s life so miserable that she’d want to quit.

Chloe wound up planting a kiss on Brady to get under Kristen’s skin, so Kristen wrote her up for inappropriate behavior.

Since there was a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment, Kristen felt there’d be a solid case against Chloe and dashed off to deliver the report to HR.

Although Chloe thought maybe she should just resign, Brady wouldn’t hear of it and headed off to fix this with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).

Later, Kristen returned to Chloe, who warned that she could give as good as she got.

When a smirking Kristen wondered if Chloe was declaring war, Chloe made it clear that she was – and she didn’t plan on losing.

In Gabi’s office, she sorted out some business conflict with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and explained the Kristen drama from earlier.

Sonny also got updates on Gabi dating Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), though she didn’t act like it was very serious.

Gabi confirmed there was only one love of her life – and that was Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Afterward, Brady blew in ranting about the Kristen situation, but Gabi acted like it was his problem now.

In the town square, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) admitted he loved Ava and suggested he just didn’t want to scare her off before.

Jake wanted to prove his commitment to Ava with this engagement, but he assured her there was no rush to the altar.

After Ava agreed to let Jake buy an engagement ring from the jewelry store, he came back with one Ava couldn’t accept.

Ava recognized it as the one Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) gave Gwen before pawning it off and thought it was a bad omen.

Jake suggested Ava could come inside with him and pick out a replacement, so she agreed.

However, Ava ultimately changed her mind and decided this ring was perfect after all. Jake slipped it on Ava’s finger as they confirmed they would marry eventually.

Over with the park robbery, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) assured the gunman that he wouldn’t call the cops and pushed him to just let Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) go.

The thug held the gun to Nicole’s head, but he eventually shoved her toward Eric and took off running.

Nicole hurt her ankle taking the tumble, so Eric stayed behind with her instead of chasing down the criminal.

Since Nicole was emotional and grateful to Eric, she cried in his arms – just in time for furious Rafe to witness the close moment.

Rafe warned Eric to get his “damn hands” off his wife, but he received the robbery news and apologized once he learned the whole story.

Since Nicole couldn’t walk on her ankle, Eric agreed to take her to the hospital while Rafe tracked down the perp.

As Jake and Ava were celebrating their engagement, the gunman appeared and demanded the new ring.

Ava was fine with handing it over, but Jake shut down the idea and stepped forward. That led to the thug pumping a bullet into a stunned Jake’s abdomen.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) reassured a worried Sarah that she couldn’t possibly have killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

Maggie also urged Sarah to keep living her life and find Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) for a do-over wedding within the hour.

Sarah was pleased over the suggestion, but Maggie looked concerned as she left.

Next, Gwen arrived at Xander’s hotel suite, where he was wearing only a towel.

Xander forced Gwen to turn around while he put some pants on and wondered what she wanted.

Gwen acted like she’d heard about Sarah’s troubles and was so sorry for driving her over the edge.

Xander didn’t seem to buy what Gwen was selling at first, but he softened as she cried and wished she could’ve been there to help Abigail.

After Xander gave Gwen a hug, Sarah showed up fuming as she caught their embrace.

That led to Sarah hallucinating that Gwen pulled a gun out of her purse, so she grabbed a letter opener off the desk and held it on her.

Sarah imagined that Gwen was making death threats, but she eventually snapped back to reality and ran to the bathroom in horror over the hallucination.

Gwen suggested she was worried about Xander’s safety, but he pushed her to leave.

After Sarah rejoined them on Tuesday’s Days episode, she apologized to Gwen and remained distraught as she hugged Xander.

Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Sonny walked in looking for “Uncle Vic” aka Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), but he found Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) dripping wet after a swim instead.

Alex assured Sonny that he wasn’t Uncle Vic as Robert Scott Wilson made his debut in a new role.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Alex will make some serious waves in Salem, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
