The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) feud seems poised to break out. It looks like Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) past and some Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) bio mom issues are on the verge of blowing up, so that should bring conflict.
For starters, we should point out that Victoria will confide in Billy during the week of August 1-5, so the show will keep their connection alive.
Billy is one of the few people who really understands Victoria, which is why she feels comfortable opening up to him.
Victoria will certainly have a lot to share due to what happened with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and the fallout of that night.
Billy will listen and offer support, but he’ll keep reconnecting with Chelsea as well through their podcast.
It sounds like that collaboration may lead to big trouble during the week of August 8-12.
Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will go too far, so she may talk about something on the show that doesn’t go over well.
Chelsea will cross into territory that sparks some drama, so that could easily be with Victoria.
After all, Chelsea wants to discuss her past and how it connects to Billy’s history, too.
Since Chelsea doesn’t want to shy away from anything, the fact that she’s Johnny’s biological mother should come up.
There’s buzz about Victoria and Chelsea sharing some tense scenes eventually, so this Johnny angle makes sense.
That’s especially true since a recent casting call potentially pointed to a disguised Johnny recast.
Victoria takes her role as Johnny’s adoptive mom very seriously and won’t like it if Chelsea’s trying to act like she’s in the picture.
Of course, this could lead to Chelsea hoping she can change that.
Chelsea might revisit the idea of pushing for visitation and trying to establish a place in Johnny’s life.
Regardless, Chelsea’s going to cause friction with a bold move and could provoke Victoria’s fury in the process if it relates to Johnny.
Victoria may have a huge problem with Chelsea talking about Johnny on the show at all, even if she doesn’t mention him by name.
