General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the next two weeks, August 8 to August 19, tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will get crushing news while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) score a surprising ally. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also make a discovery regarding Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) past while Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) finds out her fate.
During the week of August 8-12, Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will discuss their complicated relationship.
We’ll see Nina and Sonny continue to unpack their problems as they try to find a path forward.
Meanwhile, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will react to a familiar face – and it looks like it’ll be Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
There could be a connection between Cody and Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans), Scott’s now deceased former flame.
Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll come up with a clever way to force Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to help her.
Anna will want to get to the bottom of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrets and will count on Martin’s help.
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will get honest with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about her fears.
There’s more to Sam’s reluctance on living together, so she’ll open up about what’s really holding her back.
Other GH spoilers say Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will support Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) as they meet with Mia (Vanessa Mathison), the executive coach Drew previously sought advice from.
After that meeting, Drew will turn his attention to Valentin and try to tempt him with an intriguing offer.
As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll remain determined to bring Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) out of his medically induced coma.
Portia is going against her medical ethics to make this happen, but she feels she has to do this for Trina’s sake.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will help Portia, but there’ll be a snag when Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) shows up.
Jordan will nearly derail Portia’s plan, but it looks like she’ll finally leave and let Portia get down to business with Curtis.
Back with Dante, he’ll wrap the week up by making a shocking arrest.
Dante will take someone unexpected into police custody and create some drama in the process.
During the week of August 15-19, Curtis and Portia will hope the plan to wake up Oz faster worked.
Oz could rat Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) out and bring them a step closer to clearing Trina’s name.
Unfortunately, Portia and Curtis’ plan won’t change the fact that Trina will have to face her verdict.
The jury will finish deliberations, so Trina will find out her fate.
Sonny took steps to fix the outcome of Trina’s trial, but there’s no guarantee Dex was able to get through to the jury foreman.
Speaking of Dex, he’ll meet Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and immediately give off some bad vibes.
Cameron won’t like Dex at all and may urge Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to steer clear of him.
Sonny will also have some questions related to Dex’s past. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) tried to make sure Dex’s background check came up clean, but Brick (Stephen A. Smith) may uncover something that causes concern anyway.
As for Willow, she’ll receive some difficult news.
It sounds like Willow will get confirmation that she indeed has leukemia, so she’ll have to tell Michael the truth sooner or later.
After Nina enjoys a date night with Sonny, she’ll get into a fierce confrontation with Carly – one that ultimately becomes a physical altercation.
Elsewhere, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will grow suspicious about Esme, so he’ll quiz Nikolas and try to get to the bottom of things.
Later, Nikolas and Ava will find an unexpected ally. Ava and Nikolas will join forces with someone to protect themselves, so that could be Victor – though he really wouldn’t be all that unexpected.
Another option might be Sonny since he already suspects Ava did something deadly.
Nikolas and Ava might have to rely on Sonny to keep their Esme secret under wraps.
Over with Jordan again, she’ll start a new Esme investigation. That could bring some growing concerns for Ava and Nikolas since they’re hiding Esme’s parapet fall.
After Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gets triggered by something again, she’ll have another troubling memory.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will decide to contact someone from Liz’s past, so that could be her father, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson).
Finally, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will try to put Mason (Nathanyael Grey) in his place.
That’s the guy who was harassing Austin on The Haunted Star – and he happens to be Austin’s cousin.
Mason will keep pressuring Austin to do what their boss wants, but Austin will insist on staying in Port Charles and won’t want Mason anywhere near Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
