Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 10, teases that Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will pursue Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) while Sarah Horton (Lindsay Arnold) goes undercover with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will also face a roadblock, so there’ll be some big things happening all over Salem.
After Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) awakens at the Kiriakis mansion, he’ll have a nasty hangover.
Sonny will hand over a green elixir for Chad to gulp down, so that should help him get through the morning.
Since Chad’s drowning in grief right now, Sonny may feel like his buddy needs something else to focus on.
Chad could use a distraction after losing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), so Sonny will offer a position at Titan.
However, Alex may try to pump the brakes once he gets updates.
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) is counting on Alex to quietly handle any problems that arise – and the idea of putting a deeply distraught drunk on staff may not be the right call.
Of course, Sonny may feel like Alex is overstepping if he gets pushback.
Since Sonny doesn’t know Alex is Victor’s fixer, he may argue that Alex needs to know his place and respect his role as CEO.
Chad could easily pipe up about not even wanting the job since he’s still stuck in mourning.
Although Sonny’s plan will hit a roadblock, Chad would rather focus on finding Abigail’s killer anyway.
At Statesville, Days spoilers say Xander will pretend he’s Father Callum O’Brien during an undercover mission.
DOOL fans will see Xander play the part of a priest, so the warden (Cassandra Relynn) will be duped into letting him access info.
Sarah will go undercover as well, so she’ll lie about her identity and help Xander seek proof.
The goal will be to search the system and get confirmation that Gwen escaped the night Abigail died.
Although Xander and Sarah may not walk away with hard evidence, they’ll indeed make a helpful discovery – one that points straight to Ava DiMera’s (Tamara Braun) involvement.
Sarah and Xander will realize they need to back Ava into a corner.
That way, Ava will hopefully rat Gwen out and admit she helped her escape that fateful evening.
In the meantime, the warden will catch Xander and Sarah looking too close for comfort.
That should leave Xander struggling to explain since “Father Callum” isn’t supposed to be romantically involved with anyone as a priest!
Back with Alex, he’ll stop by Sweet Bits and immediately become intrigued by Chanel.
Days spoilers say Alex will turn on the charm and no doubt hope he can lure Chanel to his bed.
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will see the flirting in progress, so she’ll come along to make it clear where things stand.
After Allie presumably kisses Chanel, she’ll reveal they’re a couple and try to send Alex on his way.
It turns out Alex will be turned on rather than deterred. In fact, Alex will approach Chanel and Allie with a threesome suggestion during the week of August 15-19.
Until then, let’s talk about Ava and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Some close moments are coming up after Johnny bumps into Ava at the DiMera mansion, so these lonely broken hearts could collide for fiery passion.
No matter how far this encounter goes, Johnny and Ava will end up getting caught in an awkward position – perhaps by EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
