The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 12, tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will face the horrific Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) evidence while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) comforts a scared Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
For starters, Ridge and Thomas will be brought in the loop on the Sheila investigation. The cops now have DNA evidence – including Sheila’s middle toe – that points to her being mauled to death by a bear on a campsite.
Of course, Sheila is the kind of person who would absolutely cut off her own toe to fake her death. It seems obvious Sheila is still out there somewhere minus a digit, but the Forresters will try to believe she’s truly gone for now.
As for Ridge, he may think Sheila deserved this gruesome end. It’s easy to imagine Ridge joking that he’d like to thank that bear!
Thomas might not be quite as callous about Sheila’s grim fate, but he’ll be glad she’s out of the picture. We’ll also see Thomas express how happy he is for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) now that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has come back to her.
Steffy will remain on cloud nine over her reunion, but she’ll wish Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) could have one of their own. It looks like Steffy will call Ridge out on the Monaco kiss and urge him to stop wasting time at Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place.
With Taylor and Thomas there to witness her declaration, Steffy will insist Ridge belongs with her mom. Although Steffy will pressure Ridge to come home to Taylor, it won’t be that simple for him – not when he still has strong feelings for Brooke, too.
Meanwhile, Hope will remain terrified and emotional over Thomas’ latest idea. Thomas suggested Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) should move in the Forrester mansion with him, but Hope hates the thought of her family unit at the cabin crumbling.
Hope tabled the discussion with Thomas, so that’ll give her a chance to open up to Deacon on Friday’s B&B episode. It appears Hope will pay her dad a visit at Il Giardino since James Ripple will play a bartender and could perhaps cover for Deacon so they can talk.
After Hope explains this difficult situation, Deacon will offer support and urge her to believe Douglas will remain in her home. Hope will get a confidence boost and try to have faith that Deacon is right.
However, Douglas seems genuinely torn up over not spending enough time with Thomas. It’s clear that the kid could benefit from being closer to his dad, so that may be something Hope has to come to grips with down the road.
