DOOL fans know Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) wants Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to brainwash Stefan.
The plan is to make Stefan love Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) instead of Gabi, but the process will go wrong somehow.
Dr. Rolf may not be able to complete the brainwashing procedure before Stefan awakens, so that could lead to complications.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the scheme will be a total failure.
Dr. Rolf could always give Stefan’s brainwashing another shot later, but Stefan will have other ideas in the meantime.
Days spoilers say Stefan will end up breaking out of the lab, so look for him to carry out a desperate search for Gabi.
That could easily lead to Stefan spotting Gabi in the distance for a powerful “Stabi” moment.
Gabi may lock eyes with the love of her life and struggle to believe what she’s seeing.
When Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) first showed up in Salem, Gabi caught a glimpse of him and fainted in the town square.
Days history could repeat itself when Gabi sees the real Stefan back in the flesh.
Since Gabi doesn’t think there’s any chance that Stefan survived, she may feel like she’s seen a ghost!
Regardless, Gabi has fainted in a similar situation, so it’s reasonable to think she might faint after a new Stefan sighting.
It’s easy to imagine Gabi collapsing over Stefan and waking up to find him gone.
Li or Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) might come along and capture Stefan before Gabi realizes the truth.
Gabi may assume her mind is playing tricks on her since she’s had Stefan in her thoughts lately.
In other words, Stefan and Gabi may only get a little hint of a reunion before it’s snatched away!
Gabi might be left in the dark when it comes to Stefan’s survival, but this potential “ghost” encounter could leave her feeling haunted. We’ll provide updates as other Days news rolls in.
