General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 24, tease that Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) likely has Wu family ties, so those may come to light as Selina Wu (Lydia Look) warns Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will also confront secretive Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will ask if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is flirting with her, so he may admit it and wonder if that’s a problem.
Drew and Carly will have a chance to mull over a potential romance, but they’ll have second thoughts about moving ahead with it.
Some looming danger could change the game for Carly and Drew, but let’s talk about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the meantime.
After a conversation with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Brook Lynn will meet back up with Chase and downplay what they’re feeling.
We’ll see Brook Lynn make excuses, but Chase will be quite sure of what he’s feeling – in part thanks to the Sicilian thunderbolt beverage.
Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) lost track of the two special cups he prepared, but we know Chase will get one of them.
That’ll lead to Chase confessing what’s in his heart, so Brook Lynn may ultimately do the same and seal it with a kiss.
As for the other Sicilian thunderbolt cup that’s unaccounted for, Sam is the one who could really use it – and she’s already acting a bit bewildered.
If Sam got a dose of this love potion of sorts, it could certainly change her perspective.
“I don’t know if I’m ever going to be ready,” Sam confesses to Dante in Wednesday’s preview video. Of course, that could be before Sam’s Sicilian thunderbolt fully kicks in.
On the other hand, Sam might decide that ready or not, she wants to take the next step and move in with Dante.
Perhaps Sam will have an epiphany and realize sometimes you just have to go for it.
As for Dante, he’ll change his mind about something according to GH spoilers.
Maybe Dante will suggest moving in Sam’s penthouse or finding a brand-new place together.
That way, Sam can feel like she’s stepping out of Lulu Spencer’s (Emma Rylan) shadow and building something new with him.
No matter how this plays out, it looks like Dante and Sam will find a way forward in the end.
Over with Jordan, she’ll have some advice for Portia.
Jordan just overheard Portia on the phone about a genetic counselling appointment for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), so this is further proof that Curtis is Trina’s bio dad.
Jordan knows the damage that secrets and lies can do, so she won’t want Portia making the same mistakes she made.
Although Jordan will keep the truth under wraps for now, she may urge Portia to come clean or risk losing everything.
Next, Rory will tell Trina that there’s a reason she doesn’t know a lot about him.
Could that be because Rory is adopted and doesn’t know much about his biological family?
That’s one option to consider, but it’s also possible Rory knows about his roots and simply isn’t on good terms with most of his relatives.
Maybe it’s a tricky subject that Rory would rather avoid – like if he’s a cop from a family of criminals.
Either way, we’d say it’s no coincidence that Selina will pop up while Rory’s explaining his background to Trina.
There’s likely a connection between Selina and Rory, especially since Selina has alluded to family letting her down before.
That piqued Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) interest back in June and left him wondering who Selina was talking about, so it could be Rory or perhaps his father who disappointed Selina.
Whatever the case, Selina will speak to Curtis and warn him that he’d rather have her as an ally than an adversary.
Curtis may have to admit that’s true and reluctantly get in deeper with the mob.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Selina’s alliance could lead to some shockers, so stay tuned!
