The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 25, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will warn Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) kiss shocks Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also find a new ally, so let’s talk about what’s brewing in Genoa City.
For starters, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will determine that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) must be behind his stolen laptop fiasco.
Once Kevin arrives at Adam’s hotel suite, he’ll pound on the door and push Adam to open up.
That may leave Lucas (Aaron Schwartz) on edge since he was hired to pull off this little stunt, but Adam will no doubt protect him.
Later, Lucas could potentially cross paths with Phyllis since Y&R spoilers say she’ll make a new pal – and that means someone who could be an ally.
At some point, Phyllis might have a job for Lucas to do as part of Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) takedown.
Whatever the case, Phyllis will turn her attention to a major deal she’s closing.
That could involve finalizing the sale of The Grand Phoenix and finally devoting all her time to sinking Diane at Marchetti.
In the podcast studio, Chelsea will be disappointed to learn Billy hasn’t changed his mind about stepping away from his passion.
As Billy and Chelsea churn out ideas for their final show together, Chelsea will plant a sizzling kiss and catch him off guard.
Back with Adam, he’ll have the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) evidence in his possession and will need to decide how to proceed.
Adam will hold great power in his hands, but he may also seek a day job by visiting Jack.
Since Jack recently offered Adam employment, it’s time for Adam to reveal his decision. Will Adam accept the co-CEO spot that Kyle left behind?
At Jabot, Adam will shake hands with Jack right as Kyle spies them. That should leave Kyle concerned over the deal Jack is apparently making.
Of course, it’s possible Adam will turn Jack down and thank him with a handshake, but it sounds more like they’ll reach an agreement.
Kyle will worry about Adam coming into Abbott territory and making a mess, so he’ll definitely feel the need to warn Jack.
However, this is Jack’s call to make, so he may assure Kyle that he knows what he’s doing and wants to give Adam a chance.
