The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August, 23, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) pitched a dream life to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) suspected Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) new tactic.
At Deacon’s place, Sheila argued that he’d be a fool to pass up this offer. Deacon asked exactly how much money they were talking about, but then he decided he didn’t even want to know.
After Deacon urged Sheila to leave right now, she offered to set him up with everything he desired – including new clothes, furniture, a trip and a new car.
Sheila also wanted to help Deacon be successful and really make something of himself, but Deacon acted like he could follow his dreams on his own.
However, Sheila seriously doubted that and argued that opportunities like this don’t come along very often.
After Sheila pushed Deacon to think of all the perks, she kissed his neck and tried to provide some temptation.
Sheila urged Deacon not to turn her in, but she eventually shifted gears. After Sheila suggested Deacon could call the cops if he wanted, she warned he’d probably go back to prison too for harboring a fugitive.
Deacon held the phone in his hands, but he ultimately decided he couldn’t risk it. Sheila said it was a smart decision and smiled as she asked which side of the bed Deacon wanted.
At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Brooke was adamant that she wasn’t threatened by the kiss and that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would reconnect with her soon.
Brooke reiterated that she wouldn’t allow Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to take Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) away from Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but Taylor insisted that wasn’t Brooke’s call.
Taylor and Brooke bickered over what was best for Douglas, but Brooke stood her ground on not allowing this.
When Taylor brought up Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) miraculous reunion, Brooke acted like that wasn’t a factor here.
Taylor disagreed since she was all about nurturing her family with Ridge, who agreed Douglas should reunite with Thomas.
Brooke then accused Taylor of trying to use this to drive a wedge in her relationship with Ridge.
Taylor suggested Brooke was doing a fine job of that on her own and wondered if Brooke thought she was using Douglas to get Ridge back.
Brooke said that’s exactly what she thought, but she warned that it wasn’t going to work.
At the cabin, Hope wanted to be sure of Thomas’ expectations and insisted this was just one night at the Forrester mansion – not a permanent move.
Thomas agreed it was one night for now and that they’d worry about everything else later.
That said, Thomas had been feeling like an absentee father lately and knew Douglas missed him.
After Thomas said Douglas should be with the Forrester family, Hope suggested tabling the discussion since Douglas had just been dropped off outside.
Thomas argued that they couldn’t keep putting this off, but Hope felt that remaining at the cabin would be best for Douglas.
Once Douglas came inside, Thomas pitched the idea of him coming to stay for the night at the Forrester mansion.
Douglas was thrilled and immediately begged for Hope’s permission. Hope told Douglas that of course he could go, but she specified that it was just for the night.
While Douglas finished packing in his room, Thomas said Hope saw how excited he was.
After Thomas suggested everything would work out, Hope replied that it would as long as they remembered this was for the night and not a long-term change.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Thomas have more conflict ahead of them, so stay tuned!
