General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 24, teases that Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) mob order trapped Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) shared a passionate kiss.
By the Metro Court pool, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) eavesdropped on Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who was on the phone about a genetic counseling appointment in reference to her daughter’s paternal line.
Afterward on Wednesday’s GH episode, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) got the engagement news, so she congratulated Portia and Curtis.
Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) found Jordan in a flustered moment as she dropped her purse.
After Spencer asked if Jordan was OK, he got her some water.
Curtis had to leave after taking a call, so that gave Jordan a chance to give Portia a warning.
Jordan pointed out that Curtis valued transparency more than anything and hoped Portia didn’t make the same mistakes she made.
However, Portia acted confident about her relationship with Curtis and suggested they tried not to keep secrets from each other.
In a moment alone with Anna, Jordan hinted at information that could affect Curtis’ romance in a life-changing way.
Since Jordan was unsure of what to do, Anna suggested she should think about what her motives would be for revealing that info.
Elsewhere, Curtis met with Selina, who pointed out her tip on Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) had been useful.
Now Selina expected The Savoy to take possession of a shipment for her, so Curtis complained since he wanted no part of trafficking illegal goods.
Nevertheless, Selina said she was informing Curtis as a courtesy and warned that he’d rather have her as an ally than an enemy.
Back with Portia, she cornered Spencer and thanked him for the sacrifice he made for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Portia also noted that Trina was moving on from her trial and from Spencer, but she hoped Spencer would find happiness, too.
At Kelly’s, Trina wanted to know more about Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), who admitted he hadn’t told her much out of fear she’d think he was boring.
Rory was working on a graphic novel and liked to cook, so Trina liked everything she heard.
Back at the pool, Trina showed up with Rory and got Portia’s engagement updates.
Although Trina was thrilled for Portia, she took a moment to approach glum Spencer and express how unfair his Pentonville sentence was.
At the hospital, Portia met with a genetic specialist and hoped to handle everything for Trina, but she learned Trina herself would have to speak to the doctor.
After the love potion debacle, Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) got reassurance from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) as well as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he found Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and blurted out a speech about why he’d fallen for her.
Brook Lynn kissed Chase until they noticed Leo was spying nearby.
Leo took credit for the kiss and revealed the Sicilian thunderbolt situation, so that put doubts in Brook Lynn’s mind.
Brook Lynn worried what they were feeling wasn’t real, but Chase made it clear that he’d had these feelings for quite some time.
Once Brook Lynn and Chase established that they were both scared, they decided to go all in and be scared together.
By the grill, Carly and Drew got each other to admit they were flirting.
Although Drew and Carly had concerns about the complications of their spark, they ultimately shared a steamy kiss.
As for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she wasn’t sure she’d ever be ready to move in with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and worried her window of opportunity had closed.
Dante insisted it was always open for Sam, who decided they should control their own fate.
After Sam agreed to live with Dante, he picked her up and twirled her around.
Sam was willing to move in Dante’s house, but he suggested he should move in Sam’s place with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) instead. That decision pleased Sam, who shared a sweet kiss with Dante.
