The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Wednesday, August 24 Recap – Deacon Lies To Daughter – Douglas Delay Drives Hope Crazy

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 24, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) hid the truth on a phone call with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), who also faced a Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) delay.

At Deacon’s place, he groaned in bed since Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was there and it hadn’t been a dream.

Sheila said she made coffee and breakfast for Deacon, but he didn’t think this roommate thing was going to work.

Deacon complained about the close call with his parole officer, but Sheila acted like she handled that.

Even so, Deacon didn’t want to risk everything just so they could play house.

For Deacon’s sake and for Sheila’s own good, he thought she should hightail it out of Los Angeles.

Sheila made it clear that she wasn’t going anywhere – not when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Cooper and Miles Kilian) were there in LA.

Deacon thought it was crazy for Sheila to think she could still have a relationship with her son and grandson.

After Deacon mocked Sheila for thinking she was sane when she cut off her own toe and hobbled back to the crime scene, he said they were both at risk.

Deacon admitted he’d never met anyone like Sheila and that they had great chemistry in bed.

Although Deacon might’ve been interested if things were different, they had to deal with the reality of the situation.

At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) interrupted Finn and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) canoodling, but they assured her it was fine.

There was talk about conquering Sheila and celebrating the family coming together. Now Taylor felt they just had to get Douglas home, too.

At the Forrester mansion, Douglas was excited after getting to spend the night with his dad.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) granted Douglas’ request to watch sports in the screening room, so Douglas scampered off.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) assured Thomas that Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was fine with however long he stayed with Douglas, but he assumed Hope wouldn’t be thrilled.

Thomas admitted he was trying to be gentle since he didn’t want to do anything to hurt or upset Hope.

At the cabin, Brooke was concerned since Thomas hadn’t checked about when he’d bring Douglas home.

After Brooke argued that they were under Steffy and Taylor’s attack, Hope insisted she didn’t want this to turn into a war.

Hope eventually relented on calling Thomas to check in about Douglas.

Thomas answered and relayed that Douglas had a great night, so Hope thought she could pick him up since she was going to run some errands.

Thomas pointed out that Eric was holding an early family dinner, which threw Hope since she thought Douglas would be home by now. After Thomas said Douglas wanted to stay, he vowed to call back in a little bit.

Thomas abruptly hung up and left Hope looking uneasy. Brooke didn’t like what was happening here and couldn’t believe Thomas wouldn’t let Hope pick up Douglas.

Back at the Forrester mansion, Douglas couldn’t wait to see Hayes and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay). Soon after, Steffy and Finn arrived with the kids as well as Taylor.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was also on hand as they all celebrated Finn’s reunion with Steffy. While the children were doing a puzzle upstairs, Ridge made a speech and assured Finn that he was a Forrester.

Steffy made a speech of her own and promised to never fake Finn for granted, so they expressed their love and shared a kiss.

Back with Hope, she called Deacon since they’d been meaning to get together. Hope acknowledged she had a lot on her plate – and Deacon hinted about dealing with something unexpected, too.

After Deacon thanked Hope for reaching out, they planned to meet up sometime soon. Deacon disconnected and told Sheila that call from Hope just reinforced how dangerous this was.

Sheila acted like Deacon was too focused on the risks and not the benefits. Between the money and their time between the sheets, Sheila thought they should just enjoy the spoils.

Sheila also warned that if Deacon blew the whistle on her, he’d blow the whistle on himself.

Since this was settled as far as Sheila was concerned, she smiled and asked what she could make Deacon for dinner.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila has even more tricks up her sleeve, so stay tuned!
