Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) may propose to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and raise the romantic stakes just before Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) reawakens.
DOOL fans know Li had a close call when Stefan showed up at the DiMera mansion.
Although Gabi happened to be there at the time, Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) was the one who answered the door.
Since Ava mistakenly assumed Stefan was Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and fainted, that gave Li a chance to drug Stefan and send him back to the lab with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).
Of course, this only delays the inevitable since Stefan will wake up again eventually.
Once Dr. Rolf’s brainwashing procedure is complete, Days spoilers say Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will want Stefan awake and alert ASAP.
The sooner Stefan pursues Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), the better as far as Kristen is concerned.
It’ll work out well for Li if Stefan loves Chloe instead of Gabi, but that doesn’t shut down Gabi’s feelings for Stefan.
Li knows Gabi is a very determined woman who often gets what she wants. What’s to stop Gabi from fighting for Stefan and winning him over?
Li doesn’t have much time to strengthen his own bond with Gabi before Stefan’s back in the picture, so he has to figure something out fast.
During the week of September 5-9, Days spoilers say Li will make a daring move. We’ll see Li do something big and bold, so a marriage proposal might fit here.
Will Li pop the question and hope Gabi agrees to become his bride?
Perhaps Li will decide that if he’s engaged to Gabi when Stefan pops back up, it’ll make it tougher to bail on him.
That’s especially true since Stefan will only have eyes for Chloe if all goes well.
After Li makes this daring move, he’ll deliver a heartfelt plea to Gabi.
If Gabi has some reservations about becoming Li’s fiancée, he might make a sweet speech to convince her to go all in.
Li may urge Gabi to move on and trust that he’s the man she should build a future with.
Gabi’s world will still be turned upside down once she finds out Stefan is alive, but an engagement to Li could be a game-changer that keeps her tied to him anyway.
