General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of September 5-9 tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a top Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) suspect as the case heats up. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also face a deadly nightmare while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) have a big party, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will get some difficult news, so that may be related to her legal situation and could launch another round of conflict with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Sasha’s tanking career could also bring some unfortunate updates thanks to her downward spiral.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will cross the line and get called out by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so the plan to take down Linc Brown (Dan Buran) could lead to some tension for this new couple.
As for Portia and Curtis, they’ll host a party to celebrate Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) freedom.
Curtis and Portia will continue to celebrate their engagement as well, so that could be why they turn to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) for a favor.
This could set the stage for Stella to have some memory flashes that change everything.
Although Curtis recently popped the question to Portia, he’s still married to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) since the divorce papers were never filed.
Stella doesn’t remember that due her stroke and all the fuzziness, but things could become crystal clear soon enough.
Since Stella will ultimately deliver a shocker, the non-divorce may be the bomb she drops.
As for Jordan, she’ll mull over a clue that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) accidentally gives her.
Perhaps TJ will witness something related to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and her visitors are the hospital – something that leaves Jordan suspicious.
Over with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll put together a special surprise for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Cam may hope to treat Joss to a romantic evening, but there’s a good chance his plan will backfire.
After Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) shuts down Sonny’s offer, Sonny will focus on a faceoff with Victor.
Perhaps Sonny will have a hunch that Victor knows more than he’s saying about Ava’s stabbing.
Victor isn’t the type to end up quaking in his boots, so he may ignore Sonny and turn his attention to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
We’ll see Victor do some serious flirting, but Lucy may make it clear that she’s not interested once her plot with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) wraps up.
Then again, there could be a genuine spark between Lucy and Victor – one that could lead to trouble in her relationship with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) if she’s not careful.
Other GH spoilers say Willow will have a dreadful nightmare.
That could lead to Willow’s fears about death and the consequences of not treating her leukemia right away.
On a happier note, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will celebrate officially living together while Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) opens up about a theory.
That theory may involve Mac Scorpio (John J. York) potentially being Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) biological father.
Felicia will give Mac a nudge in the right direction, so she may convince him to talk to Cody and potentially have a DNA test done.
As for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll get grilled by nosy Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) again while Cody turns to Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Cody will make a proposal that could prove risky considering who Selina is and the power she has in Port Charles.
While Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) seeks Jordan’s guidance, Trina will have a case of bad timing and could make a mess for someone.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also ask for Robert Scorpio’s (Trista Rogers) help – presumably in dealing with her Victor problems.
Elsewhere, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will find reasons to be concerned about Brook Lynn’s romance with Chase and where it’s headed.
Finally, Sonny will confide in someone and divulge some growing suspicions about Nikolas.
It sounds like Sonny will become increasingly convinced that Nikolas was behind Ava’s stabbing.
