General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a GH fall preview, so let’s talk about some shocking new crimes, heroic missions and messy love triangles. This autumn will pack a punch when it comes to drama, so here’s what viewers can expect.
First, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will stand together in their fight to save Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia Heinle) and take down Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), but making Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) part of their plot could lead to trouble.
Speaking of trouble, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will end up in some when her plane is forced to make an emergency landing.
Carly’s flight to a corporate retreat in Aruba will go wrong, but the bright side is she’ll have time to nail down her future.
Drew Cain (Cameron Marthison) will certainly be part of that future if Carly can open her heart and take the leap.
The stars should align for Drew to be Carly’s knight in shining armor and hopefully find a path forward with her romantically.
Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogn), they’ll try to keep their own romantic momentum going, but Dante’s reconnection with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) could stir up some surprising issues.
Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will keep up his efforts to show Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) the ropes, but Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) scheme will lead to some unanticipated consequences and make waves in their family.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also develop suspicions about someone in Sonny’s orbit and wrestle with how much to share, so we’ll see if she starts to notice the warning signs when it comes to Dex and Michael.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll struggle to find the right balance when it comes to helping Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
Although Finn won’t want to overstep again, he’ll have a hard time taking a step back since Liz will be making some self-destructive decisions.
While Liz fights to uncover her trauma and deal with her past, Cody will keep trying to pursue Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while facing the knowledge that he may be connected to the Scorpio clan.
Elsewhere, Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) will encourage Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) to embrace Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) as a good guy and regular part of their lives.
Unfortunately, Georgie’s distrust of Austin is warranted – and Maxie will soon see that her daughter might have the right idea!
Emma Samms is set to make her return as Holly Sutton this October, so this will shape up to be a huge story for Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
Robert will kick off a mission for answers that’ll bring some great twists and turns for fans.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will make her triumphant comeback as well – and she’ll do it in heroic fashion when the moment is right.
Despite Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) happiness with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), she won’t be able to shake her deep feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
That’ll make Spencer’s Pentonville stay tough for Trina, who’ll have to contend with conflicting emotions while he’s gone.
Like it or not, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) are stuck with each other due to their Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) secret. That’ll bring more hostility, but it’ll bind them together, too.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and her team will work to uncover the truth about Ava’s attack, but will that attacker strike again?
Back with Dex, his flying sparks with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could affect her relationship with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Since Cam and Josslyn’s romance is already vulnerable, it’ll leave the door open for something new to capture Joss’ attention.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will ramp up their scheme against Linc Brown (Dan Duran) while Jordan has a fierce faceoff with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) over Trina’s paternity secret.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will wonder if he should seek genetic counseling after all as a precaution.
Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) medical history will no doubt continue to play a critical role in this storyline.
As love blooms for Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi), Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) will clash with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Alexis will be a bit overbearing when it comes to her opinions about Kristina’s next steps in life.
Look for Alexis’ bond with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) to grow stronger as they get caught up in a mystery involving a string of stunning crimes.
Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will also gather more power and establish a bigger presence in Port Charles.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will need to figure out whether she’ll choose prison or a conservatorship under Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), but a twist could lead to complications that’ll affect her choice.
Finally, Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) decision to delay chemotherapy will leave her leaning on TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) even more while Michael’s caught up in his doomed battle with Sonny.
It sounds like TJ and Willow’s growing bond could present a problem if they aren’t careful!
