General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 6, reveals that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) took Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) deadly dream – and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) reunited with her dead daughter in the cemetery.
At home, Willow had a terrifying nightmare where Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) were dead on the floor. Nelle appeared with Wiley and insisted Willow was to blame, so Willow reeled over the blood on her hands.
After Nelle urged Wiley to say goodbye, he did as he was told – and then they both disappeared. Willow was horrified until she woke up and confirmed Michael was fine along with Carly downstairs. Wiley was also sleeping in his room.
Once Willow offered updates on her nightmare, she got dressed and decided to get some air. Carly pointed out that Nelle died two years ago today, so the nightmare wasn’t coming out of nowhere.
Michael ultimately grew concerned about the potential for a Nina and Willow run-in at the cemetery. Wiley had a bad dream of his own and wanted Michael to stay with him, so Carly agreed to go after Willow and make sure Nina didn’t bother her.
Once Nina visited Nelle’s gravestone, she saw a vision of Nelle and lamented never being able to be her mother. Nelle let Nina hug her and acted like they were both dealt a bad hand.
In Nelle’s opinion, that made them the same and gave them an excuse to inflict pain on the world. Nelle thought they could’ve done so much damage together, but that’s not what Nina wanted.
After Nelle ranted about Nina having so many opportunities to see that she was her flesh and blood, Nina held her face in her hands and cried. Willow showed up and wondered who Nina had been talking to, so Nina claimed she was just talking to herself.
Things started off well enough as Willow expressed sympathy, but the conversation headed downhill when Nina pointed out they wanted to erase Nelle from Wiley’s life. An argument broke out just before Carly arrived and put Nina in her place.
Once Willow was gone, Carly suggested Nina played the victim just like Nelle. Although Carly had compassion for Nelle once upon a time, she rattled off a list of Nelle’s offenses and sarcastically suggested Nina must be so proud.
As Carly sauntered off, a distraught Nina said it didn’t have to be this way.
At The Savoy, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) demanded to see what was in the letter since it had her name on it. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) argued that it was addressed to Trina as his friend, so he no longer wanted her to read it since they weren’t friends anymore.
Trina hoped Spencer could understand that their relationship had been toxic, so he offered reassurance.
After Spencer said he could’ve been more upfront with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) about his feelings for Trina, he acted like things could’ve been different. Spencer claimed that was what he wrote, so Trina gave the letter back and let Spencer leave after Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) appeared.
Once Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a tense moment with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), he turned his attention to Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Selina inquired about Sonny’s conflict with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and implied that her own connection to Curtis had proven useful.
Over with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), she talked to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about the weird match Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) had with a relative in Port Charles. TJ struggled to believe it was just a glitch.
Jordan later watched Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) share a close moment with Trina, who was the best daughter in his eyes. At one point, Jordan also quizzed Trina about whether she’d ever done a genealogy search through an ancestry site, so Trina admitted that she did back in high school.
As for Stella, she was stunned to see the engagement ring on Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) finger. Curtis and Portia asked Stella to officiate their wedding, so she pointed out she’d never done anything like that before.
Portia and Curtis talked about how easy it was to just fill out the paperwork and mail it in. That triggered some memories for Stella as she seemingly realized the divorce papers never got filed.
Stella agreed to officiate, but she mentioned they’d need proof of their divorces and hinted that Curtis should look into that. Curtis realized he hadn’t received official documentation, so he asked Jordan about it.
Jordan admitted she got a lot of mail while she was at the clinic, but she vowed to look for finalized divorce info since Curtis needed it for a marriage license.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) hinted about a big surprise before Curtis made a speech about Trina and introduced Cam along with his band. Everyone rocked out to Cameron’s exciting musical performance soon after.
Back with Spencer elsewhere, he burned the letter that he’d written to Trina. As other GH news emerges, we’ll keep you in the loop.
