Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, September 8, tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will propose to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) while Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) gets a wakeup call. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will also demand the truth, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
First, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will decide she’s waited long enough for Stefan to awaken. Dr. Rolf apparently won’t be able to delay the inevitable any longer, so Stefan is on the verge of opening his eyes and rejoining the land of the living.
Of course, Stefan already woke up once, but now it’ll be for good! Kristen will be eager to see if Dr. Rolf’s conditioning process worked and will remain hopeful that Stefan will love Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) instead of his wife.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Li will take a bold step forward in his romance. In an effort to strengthen his own hold on Gabi, Li will pop the question and make a big pitch for a bright future together.
While Gabi reacts to Li’s engagement ring, EJ will continue to fume over Ava DiMera’s (Tamara Braun) deception. Although EJ can’t prove that Ava is a fraud, he feels confident this whole marriage thing is a sham.
Johnny managed to block EJ’s push for power, so that’ll leave his father more riled than ever. Days spoilers say EJ will demand the truth from Gabi at one point, but she should keep up Ava’s widow charade.
Ava will get another earful from EJ as well, but she’ll lean on Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) as the two of them grow closer. Johnny is becoming more smitten with Ava by the second, so she may find ways to use that to her advantage.
However, Ava truly appreciates having someone like Johnny in her corner, so their bond could become quite complicated as this storyline moves along.
