The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, September 8, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will surrender Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) another night while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) pulls Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) closer.
At the Forrester mansion, the family gathering will continue. Hope clearly feels like a bit of an outsider despite Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) insistence that she’s family, too.
Of course, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doesn’t really consider any Logan part of the Forrester clan.
Hope’s presence is mostly just irritating as far as Steffy’s concerned, especially since she expects Douglas’ adoptive mom to whisk him back to the cabin by the end of the night.
However, Hope will actually wind up letting Douglas stay another night instead.
Thomas may push Hope to see that there’s no reason to drag Douglas away from the fun, so she’ll relent and head home alone.
When Hope walks through the door without Douglas, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will fear the worst.
In Liam’s eyes, it’ll serve as proof that Thomas is manipulating Hope into doing whatever he wants.
Nevertheless, Hope may argue that she can think for herself and simply didn’t want to cause drama at the Forrester get-together.
Douglas may even ask Hope to extend his stay – and in that case, Hope may admit she just couldn’t say no.
Liam will grow worried about this mansion move becoming permanent since Thomas isn’t in any hurry to let Douglas return to the cabin.
As for Hope, she’ll struggle since she knows it wouldn’t be such a bad thing if Thomas was a full-time father.
At the same time, the thought of Douglas moving out of the cabin for good is tough to handle.
While Hope and Liam debate the Douglas situation, Steffy will remain firmly on “Team Taylor” when it comes to the battle for Ridge’s heart.
B&B spoilers say Steffy will reiterate that she wholeheartedly supports a reunion between her parents, but they certainly haven’t forgotten!
Steffy will do whatever she can to push Ridge and Taylor closer, so the two of them will inch toward a potential romantic reconnection.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) won’t give Ridge up without a fight, but this war could be a brutal one.
