The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) may be gearing up for a dangerous renewed romance. Will Ashley manipulate Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to figure out his true agenda?
Ashley got stuck in Paris and couldn’t make it back for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) vow renewal.
That was likely Y&R’s way of delaying a tense Tucker reunion and giving Ashley a one-on-one confrontation with her ex later.
Regardless, Tucker will claim he wants to make amends with Ashley, so she’ll have to make some difficult decisions during the week of October 10-14.
The first one might be whether to even come back to Genoa City at all.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be wary of Tucker and what he’s plotting, so he might call Ashley and urge her to just remain in Paris.
Maybe Jack will hope that Tucker will lose interest and disappear again if Ashley stays away long enough.
However, Ashley may decide she at least wants to hear Tucker out.
It’s clear that Tucker has multiple schemes in play, so Ashley may fear an attack on Jabot could be one of them.
Tucker is already messing with the Abbotts, so Ashley may not be able to stand by and let that happen.
Ashley can’t do much of anything if she’s in France, so that means she’ll have to make the flight back to GC and stay for a while.
Fall preview spoilers previously pointed to some pain from Ashley’s past and hinted at her sticking around.
Seeing Tucker again will stir up tough emotions for Ashley as she thinks back on their marriage and all their relationship drama.
That could lead to Ashley’s next decision of whether she’ll forgive Tucker for the mistakes of the past or plot against him instead.
Y&R seems to love doing storylines like the one they did with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
They made it seem like Victoria had forgiven Ashland, but she was secretly manipulating him and setting him up for a fall.
Will the show take a similar route with Ashley?
They could make it so Ashley is essentially Tucker’s kryptonite – his one weak spot that can be used for his takedown.
Of course, if Ashley falls back in love with Tucker along the way, that could complicate her plan!
Whatever the case, it’s easy to imagine Ashley pretending she’s going to give Tucker another chance.
It could lead to Ashley trying to find out what Tucker is really up to and perhaps putting a stop to it.
