General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, October 17, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will get a big surprise while Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) DNA test refusal is explained. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will also plot a punishment, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on ABC’s GH.
In Jacksonville, Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) will gloat now that the parkway is still on track and Virginia Benson’s (Lois Nettleton) remains will have to be moved.
Carly failed in Peyton’s eyes, so she’ll take this opportunity to rub it in.
However, Carly will recap all the drama of the past and perhaps act like she’s a winner for getting closure.
At the very least, not having to interact with Peyton anymore will be a huge victory!
Meanwhile, Drew will be surprised to see Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), who’ll have a question that she thinks he can answer.
This may involve giving Drew a nudge toward a romantic gesture since Bobbie is really rooting for him to be with Carly.
Carly will get a big surprise later, so that could tie in with an upcoming trip to the beach.
It looks like Drew will take Carly to enjoy some sand and waves, so that could set the stage for a romantic turning point.
Back in Port Charles, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will quiz Cody on why he doesn’t want to get a DNA test.
Cody may admit it’s because he’s been disappointed too many times in his life.
There might be part of Cody that’s already latched onto the idea of Mac Scorpio (John J. York) being a great dad.
Cody may not want to let himself dream of an accepting family since it’s easier to just guard his heart.
Britt will understand where Cody’s coming from and open up about her own history, so the two of them will start to grow closer.
In the meantime, Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will have some important updates for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shiner), who’ll listen to their speculation regarding Dominique Stanton’s (Shell Danielson) baby and see if anything jogs his memory.
Scott never knew about that child’s existence until recently, but it looks like there’ll be some forgotten detail that suddenly comes to mind.
Mac will wonder if Scott knows something he doesn’t know, so he’ll push Scott to spill.
Of course, we can’t forget about the horse trainer Cody mentioned growing up with.
Cody hinted about that man being a father figure, so there’s always a chance he was Cody’s actual bio dad.
Over with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she’ll angrily warn Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to stay out of her way, but she won’t realize Victor is listening in on the confrontation through the new “bauble” he gave her.
Now Victor knows Lucy has been working for Anna, so he’ll plan to teach them both a lesson.
The question is: Will either of them mention Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement in their scheme?
Victor may suspect Valentin’s involvement regardless, so he’ll summon his son and hint that Valentin isn’t the only one holding out on him.
After Victor calls attention to this Anna and Lucy situation, he’ll extend an offer that Valentin surely won’t like.
Valentin may face an ultimatum since Victor still has Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain) to use as leverage.
If Valentin wants to keep Charlotte safe, Victor may demand his help in taking down Lucy and Anna.
