The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, October 17, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) stopped Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) from drinking while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had a make-out session.
At Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) admitted she was tempted to reunite with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), but she knew Brooke would remain an issue in their relationship.
Once Katie talked about how she couldn’t trust Bill, she suggested Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) should be heading home to Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Carter confessed that Quinn moved out and added that he had no idea what happened.
Although Carter was ready to marry Quinn and have a family, she was on a different path.
Katie was shocked as she pushed for details, but she admitted to being glad that Quinn was gone.
After Katie pointed out that Carter deserved better, he thought maybe he wasn’t destined to meet the right woman.
However, Katie argued that plenty of women thought Carter was amazing – not just Quinn.
Moments later, Katie leaned in for a kiss that Carter reciprocated, but she eventually pulled back laughing at her own impulsiveness.
At home on Monday’s B&B episode, Brooke urged Bill to leave in case Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) came back, but Bill didn’t think that was happening anytime soon.
When Liam arrived, he got updates on the “Bridge” breakup and thought it was best for Bill to listen to Brooke right now.
Once Bill was gone, Liam offered support to Brooke, who didn’t understand what she did wrong.
Brooke pointed out that Ridge just acted like she should know, which didn’t make sense to Liam.
Although Brooke initially argued this couldn’t be the end of her marriage, she later wavered and feared her relationship was over for good.
Brooke wanted to be alone, so Liam agreed to go – though he seemed nervous over the nearby alcohol bottles as he went.
After Brooke was on her own, she thought back to Ridge saying goodbye and poured herself a glass of vodka.
Liam reappeared to take the glass from Brooke’s hand and refused to let her do this, so she accepted his embrace.
In the Forrester Creations design office, Hope overheard Thomas on the phone with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Once Hope realized Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) were back together, she reeled over the news and knew Brooke had to be heartbroken.
Since there was still so much work to be done, Hope decided to stay at the office instead of checking on Brooke.
Thomas said his most recent design was behind the changing screen if Hope wanted to try it on, so she headed back there.
Meanwhile, Thomas listened to Hope unzipping and looked affected by it.
After Hope came out wearing the gown, Thomas touched her as he said the bodice fell perfectly and marveled over how beautiful she looked.
Hope suggested Thomas probably said that to all the models, but he reminded her that he was a one-woman man – and that woman was Hope.
Once she stared at Thomas for a moment, Hope dove in and kissed him passionately.
Thomas ultimately pulled apart from Hope as they shared an intense look.
