General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, October 21, reveals that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) claimed to have missing memories and made a shady phone move. The murder weapon was also found in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) trunk, so let’s talk about how all the action played out.
On the beach in Jacksonville, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) made a speech for her adoptive mom and scattered Virginia Benson’s (Lois Nettleton) ashes toward the waves.
Carly also talked about getting closure on this trip and realizing what was important to her, including Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Watching Carly face her past made Drew take a good look at his own life.
Drew and Carly talked about new beginnings, which could be scary, exciting and full of possibility.
Before Drew kissed Carly, he asked if it was OK.
Carly confirmed it was and assured Drew that he didn’t have to ask her that ever again, so they locked lips against the beach backdrop.
At the Quartermaine boathouse, Holly was surprised to learn everyone thought she was dead.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) wondered where Holly had been for the last two years, but she said everything was all mixed up – though she thought she remembered being on a boat.
Since Holly had no real memory of how she got there, Robert insisted she should be checked for a concussion at the hospital.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) could tell Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was curious and wanted to support Robert, so he urged her to go, too.
At GH, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) worried about missing Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) before Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) appeared and heard what was going on.
Mason (Nathanyael Grey) popped up and eventually pushed Maxie to talk some sense into Austin by convincing him to come home for Thanksgiving.
After Mason insisted Maxie and her kids were invited too, Austin pulled him aside and warned him to leave Maxie out of this.
However, Mason felt that Austin involved Maxie by thinking he could keep her separate from his life in Pawtuck.
Mason also warned that Maxie and her kids would be better off staying as far away as possible.
After Robert wheeled Holly in, she introduced herself to Austin and got examined.
Robert wanted Holly admitted, but Austin suggested they could look at the MRI results first.
As for the last thing Holly recalled, she said it was all so foggy. Holly managed to remember being at a casino in Monaco and investigating for the WSB.
Since Holly wanted to call Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons), Robert handed over his phone and stepped out.
Holly looked a bit on edge as she secretly put Robert’s phone on “do not disturb.”
Later, Robert rejoined Holly along with Olivia, who brought her some fresh clothes.
Holly officially met Olivia and learned how hard Robert had fought to find her, so she seemed touched.
Robert still wanted Holly to stay at the hospital, but Holly was adamant about visiting the Metro Court for a full English breakfast and some tea that preferably had whiskey in it.
At the police station, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) demanded Anna’s arrest based on the drone footage that proved she was the shooter.
Anna argued that it wasn’t her and assured Martin that she was being set up.
Once Victor heard about the shooting footage, he pretended to be upset over Lucy and acted like he’d been clinging to hope she’d be found safe.
Anna ultimately chased Victor around the interrogation room as she tried to attack him for answers, so Jordan warned her to cool it.
At one point, Anna left Robert a voicemail since Victor had made his next move – and it involved framing her for murder.
Since Anna knew there’d be other evidence planted, she needed to get out of there.
Until the footage could be analyzed, Jordan saw no reason why Anna should be arrested and let her leave with a warning not to skip town.
ADA Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Field) acted like Jordan couldn’t be objective about Anna and wanted her removed from the case.
Martin also felt that Anna was being given preferential treatment and wasn’t happy about it.
Victor mentioned that in hindsight, Lucy seemed uncomfortable whenever Anna’s name was mentioned – like maybe she was scared of her.
When asked if he was willing to give a statement, Victor said he would. Otherwise, Valentin was free to go and wasn’t implicated in anything that went down.
Back with Anna, she donned gloves and searched her car for more planted evidence against her.
Sure enough, Anna found the shooter’s clothes and gun hidden in the trunk.
Once Martin ran into Sasha at the hospital, he revealed that he had updates on her future.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) discussed the Holly situation before talk turned to all the performance views he was racking up on social media.
Brook Lynn felt they needed to get a single out by the end of the week and an album out by the end of the month.
While Brook Lynn took a call about Chase’s studio session, Ned quizzed him about his true feelings on all this.
Chase admitted music just wasn’t his passion and wished he could help get the hook killer off the streets.
That was something that really mattered to Chase, but he also knew the reality was he couldn’t be a cop right now.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn deleted Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) email of support for Chase’s reinstatement.
After Linc Brown (Dan Buran) called, Brook Lynn told Chase that he took the bait.
Linc wanted Chase to record a duet with one of his rising stars, which would mean a huge boost for Chase’s career and bring them one step closer to exposing Linc as a predator.
Chase hugged Brook Lynn over the news, but he seemed uneasy.
General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn and Chase are already headed for trouble in their new romance, so stay tuned!
