In tonight’s Rookie Blue episode, Nolan and Juarez bring in a woman who is clearly drunk and says she is secretly a princess.
John thinks Bailey is going back to work soon, she was dead and they brought her back, so he thinks she needs more time than a week to recuperate.
Angela is about the leave the house, she opens the door and finds her mother on the ground, hurt, there is blood near her head and tells Wesley to call 911.
Grey tells Smitty that he can’t park his vehicle in marked spots. Grey turns to Bradford and asks if there is any way he will retire soon.
Angela’s mother is in the hospital, she is going to be ok, she got a few stitches. Angela wants to know what happened, she was on her way to see Angela when a big man trapped her, she hit him with her purse and the guy said “your son is running out of time.”
Bradford and West are on patrol when they see a burglary in progress. Bradford runs and slams a guy to the ground, and hurts his back.
Angela speaks to Nyla about her mother, Nyla reminds her that she cannot do the case. Her brothers Damien known as Father Lopez, and Benjamin “Benny” Lopez, and Cruz Lopez. Bruno is the youngest, but he has been in NY in college, so he can’t be responsible. Angela tells them what the assailant said, Nyla tells the one responsible to confess and make it easier on them.
Nune is in an ambulance with a crash victim and when she goes inside to get a stretcher,
Nune’s partner, Greg is hit with a canister and the crash victim is gone. Nolan and Juarez are there, None tells them that it was more than a crash, she notices gun exit wound. The victim’s name is Rob Lukasky, he left his wallet in the ambulance.
Bradford is limping into the hospital, he is in pain.
Nyla starts interrogating the Lopez brothers. Wesley shows up, he wants to defend the brothers so he can get closer to Angela’s family and they might then like him.
Nolan finds out that their victim, Rob, killed a woman earlier in the morning. Nolan and Juarez are searching the hospital while it is on lockdown, and Nolan finds a room with bloody clothes that belonged to Rob.
Grey tells Angela and Nyla that the hospital is on lockdown but Thorsten is there watching Angela’s mother.
Tim is told by his doctor that when a bullet was removed some time ago, a fragment was left and it is pushing against his spine, they need to operate. It is risky, but it is laparoscopic, so he can be home by dinner.
Chen goes to get in the elevator as Grey is coming out and he passes out on the floor.
Grey and Bradford are now in hospital beds, side by side.
Some guys bring in the guy who they think hit Angela’s mother, it is a man who says Angela’s brother is sleeping with his wife. Angela reminds Damien that he is a priest, he tells her he has been struggling with that lately but he doesn’t think that had anything to do what happened to their mother. Angela has her mother look at a photo of the husband, but she says it wasn’t him.
Bradford is stretching his legs, taking a walk in the hallway when he sees Rob, Bradford gets thrown to the ground, Grey comes running out of the room.
Angela goes to speak to her mother and questions her again, this time she finds out that her mom took a ride share to her house. Angela asks what happened to her car and her mom says she gave it to Benny. Angela realizes, Benny is having money issues.
Juarez and Nolan go in the stairwell to look for the shooter, they separate and Juarez sees a guard taken out, she bends out to check if he is alive and the shooter puts a gun to her and tells her not to move. He forces Juarez out of the hospital and into an ambulance. She asks him to let her to at least let her look at his wounds. Nolan is outside the ambulance. Juarez gets out and tells him that instead of giving him antibiotics for his wound, she gave him morphine, they find him passed out.
Benny tells Angela that he bought some stocks on margin, it bombed and he got the money from a loan shark. Angela goes to see the loan shark with Nya who arrests the loan sharks bodyguard for elder abuse when he hurt Angela’s mother.
Ashley breaks up with Tim just when he gets out of surgery, she says she can’t do this, she can’t always worry about him dying on the job.
Chen finds out that Grey had full spinal surgery and she is upset, she runs to the hospital to see him. She asks where Ashley is and he says he sent her home, she was exhausted. She sits down in the chair and says she is staying to keep him company.
Angela, her mother, her brothers and Wesley are having dinner together.
Bailey asks John if he will marry her.
