The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may lobby for Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) Jabot job. Will these exes work together again after Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) hiring decision?
Thanks to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Sally is out as Newman Media’s CEO.
That means Sally will need to look elsewhere for employment – and there honestly aren’t that many options in Genoa City.
Adam is the co-CEO at Jabot, so he might make a big pitch to Jack and hope for the best.
Although Jack and Sally have a complicated history, he still has a soft spot for her.
Jack has reached a friendly place with Sally and realizes she’s seemingly learned from her mistakes.
That’s why the news of Sally’s sudden firing will undoubtedly tug at Jack’s heart strings.
Adam might be able to use that to his advantage and push for Sally to come on board at Jabot.
There’s surely an executive position that they could give Sally, so Jack may at least mull over the idea of Sally joining their team.
Of course, it’s possible Sally will end up at Marchetti, but Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) would really have to put their issues aside.
Making Sally part of the big-picture strategy at Jabot might be a better alternative, especially if she has a chance to work closely with Adam.
That might give the writers an opportunity to pull Adam and Sally back together.
It’d take some convincing since Sally surely wouldn’t want a handout from Adam, but Jack might legitimately have a place where Sally’s needed.
Whatever the case, Adam’s heart may go out to Sally once he finds out she’s out of a job.
Will Adam lobby for Sally and perhaps take a more honest approach with Sally about what he’s doing?
Adam and Sally might be able to build a healthy relationship again down the road since there’s still an intense attraction between them.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will land somewhere for work eventually, so stay tuned to see if Jabot might become a possibility.
