Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, November 14 Recap – EJ Strangles Ava – Jada’s Baby Stuns Nicole – Rejected Rafe Cries Alone

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 14, reveals that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) tried to strangle Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) while Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) baby stunned Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker). Rejected Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) also cried alone, so here’s how all the Days drama played out.

When Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) came home and found Ava in Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) arms, she was surprised – though she assured Ava she wasn’t threatened by her.

Steve refused to leave Kayla in the dark, so he admitted Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) had been kidnapped.

After Steve revealed he was headed to Seattle on a rescue mission, Kayla insisted on going with him.

At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s DOOL episode, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) worried that kidnapping Tripp could backfire on EJ and leave him a step closer to losing Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).

EJ acted confident in his strategy, but Ava came strutting in and thought he was nervous about meeting his match.

Ava urged EJ to return Tripp and then they’d talk about what it would cost him to get Susan back.

EJ eventually got so enraged that he grabbed Ava by the throat and tried to strangle her, but Tony intervened.

Once Ava was gone, Tony pushed EJ to just pay the ransom before things went downhill any further.

At the hospital, Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) pointed out that birth control wasn’t 100-percent effective and assumed Jada’s baby was a complication.

However, Sarah quickly decided it was none of her business and left Jada to talk with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

Jada mentioned a string of unhappy surprises and ultimately admitted to seeing Eric kissing Nicole at Basic Black.

Eric confessed to being in denial about his feelings for Nicole and not being able to give all of himself in another relationship like he thought.

Jada pushed Eric to get out, but he wanted to offer support and make decisions about this baby together.

In the end, Jada insisted she needed to rest and regroup, so she convinced Eric to leave her alone for now.

Once Eric left on Monday’s Days episode, Jada clutched her stomach and cried over the situation she now found herself in.

In a private waiting area, Nicole came clean to Rafe about her feelings for Eric and how things changed when she realized he wasn’t a priest anymore.

Rafe thought their marriage was a farce and accused Nicole of using him, but Nicole insisted she wanted those to be her last vows at the time.

Nevertheless, Rafe ranted about Nicole’s many failed marriages and the fact that she cheated on Eric with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) of all people.

After Nicole returned Rafe’s ring, she was apologetic about not deserving it or him.

Rafe sat in tears as Nicole exited and ultimately put the ring down on a table before leaving as well.

When Eric caught up with Nicole, he could tell she was upset and pulled her into a hug. Nicole admitted to telling Rafe everything and added that it was awful.

Once Nicole asked about Jada, Eric revealed she was pregnant. That news left Nicole gasping in shock!

At the pub, Xander guzzled a drink at the bar and suddenly realized Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was at a table nearby.

After joining Gwen and discussing his pharmaceutical startup position, she searched online and found nothing about “Rednax.”

Gwen suspected that Xander didn’t have a job at all and that he was just killing time so Sarah would think he put in a full day’s work.

Xander admitted he indeed had a job, but it involved doing something illegal.

Once Xander made an offscreen confession about kidnapping Susan for Ava, Gwen mentioned that Ava came to her for help first.

Sarah found Xander and Gwen sitting together, so Gwen explained that Xander was just telling her about his new job.

Although Gwen taunted Xander a bit by suggesting it was a shocking line of work, she covered for him with Sarah.

In a moment alone, Xander questioned why Gwen didn’t blab and blow up his relationship, but she didn’t have it in her to hurt him like that.

Once Sarah returned from a phone call, Gwen said Xander should let her know if he ever wanted to talk.

Sarah seemed suspicious, but Gwen lied about an interview about the pharmaceutical startup – though Xander turned Gwen down regardless.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander has some other tight spots ahead of him, so stay tuned.
