General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, December 5 to December 16, tease that tragedy will strike while Ava Jerome (Maura West) faces a baby bombshell. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also deal with devastation while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) faces a tricky setback, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
During the week of December 5-9, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will talk to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) about her future.
Britt won’t feel like she has much of one left, so it seems she’ll want to leave Port Charles and try to find fulfillment elsewhere.
Of course, Britt might throw herself that epic birthday party she talked about first, but she’ll continue to feel rather hopeless and will push Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) away.
In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will stand her ground against Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) threats about not taking care of herself.
Liz may think Esme is merely pretending to put the baby at risk – and viewers know that’s true since Esme saved some prenatal vitamins to take secretly.
Later, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will put Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) through an interrogation and beg Liz for the truth later.
Something strange will be going on as far as Finn’s concerned, so he’ll plead with Liz to bring him in the loop.
Finn will witness a shocking sight later, so we’ll see if he gets the wrong idea about Nikolas and Liz’s relationship or perhaps uncovers a clue that could lead to Esme.
Over with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he may suspect Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are getting too close for comfort.
That could certainly lead to Sonny laying down the law.
Whatever the case, Sonny will give Dex a warning eventually. There’ll be some new suspicions that surface regarding Dex, who could easily have old ties to Pikeman Security Group.
As for Ava, she’ll pay Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) a visit, so this should involve the first interview she got him to agree to.
During the week of December 12-16, Nikolas will refuse to back down against Esme.
However, Nikolas’ world is on the verge of exploding since Ava will get some jaw-dropping news.
Whether Ava learns about Esme’s pregnancy from Ryan or discovers the truth another way, she’ll be rocked by a major discovery.
It sounds like Esme’s baby bomb will drop on Ava, so she’ll be furious with Nikolas all over again.
Back with Britt, she’ll make a gesture that touches Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) heart.
Britt may finally come clean about her Huntington’s disease and offer some parting gift to Brad ahead of her exit.
We should also talk about Heather Webber (Alley Mills) since she’ll form a twisted alliance with someone.
That could easily be Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstorm) if he’s willing to put whatever negative history he shares with Heather to rest.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have some unfortunate updates, so that could be due to a birth parents lead that doesn’t pan out.
Carly will be manipulating things behind the scenes to make sure Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) doesn’t learn the truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being her bio mom.
That plan will run into some trouble, so Carly will grow nervous over a tricky setback.
It could leave Carly worried that Willow could learn the real story – and Drew could learn Carly’s been sabotaging his search efforts.
Carly may manage to contain her mess for now, but things will get more complicated once Willow’s bone marrow donor search eventually comes to light.
After a misunderstanding, Spencer will blow his top.
There’s a chance Spencer will get the wrong idea about the wedding that’s looming if he overhears and thinks Trina is getting married instead of Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will earn praise from Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) as the action heats up in Port Charles.
Tragedy will strike, so “The Hook” may be at it again.
There are some hints to suggest Cameron Webber (William Lipton) might become the next attempted murder victim, so that could potentially throw off Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) plan to break up with him!
Regardless, the people of Port Charles will reel over the tragedy ahead.
Trina will struggle with devastation while Elizabeth fears the worst outcome, so Cameron may be in bad shape if “The Hook” targets him.
Back with Nina, she’ll contemplate her role in Sonny’s life and what their future’s going to look like.
There might be some marriage talk if Nina opens up to Sonny and has a desire for that.
Finally, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will meet back up with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as the scheme to clear her name heats up!
Valentin will promise Anna that he’s going to get her out of this mess soon enough.
