Speaking of Sonny never being wrong, when he shot his own son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), it wasn’t his fault because he didn’t know at the time that Dante was his son and thought he was a mole in his business.
Sonny’s let his children grow up watching him circumvent the law, scream at and ridicule every woman he’s ever claimed to love, and make a mockery of the institution of marriage.

He might have dabbled in harder things once upon a time and thought there was no harm in it, but Sonny wasn’t a big fan of medication if it was actually needed.
Being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder was difficult for Sonny, because certainly nothing could be wrong with the man who is never wrong.
Staying on his medication has been a challenge for Sonny. He really doesn’t want to admit he’s not in control.
