The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Wednesday, January 4 Recap – Li Taunts Sheila – Steffy Fails to Stop Bill

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, January 4, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was so glad Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had seemingly reconsidered his blackmail threat.

After Steffy talked about Bill calling 911, she wanted to make sure Bill was no longer threatening Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and never would again.

Steffy defended Taylor since she wasn’t in her right mind when she shot Bill that night.

Taylor was a good person and had even tried to help Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), who was beyond it as far as Steffy was concerned.

Once Steffy pushed Bill to consider all the people Sheila had hurt, she insisted Sheila should never be free again.

Bill said he heard what Steffy was saying and added that she was right about everything Sheila had done in the past – all the lives she’d destroyed.

Steffy hoped they agreed that Sheila would pay and that Bill wouldn’t say anything about Taylor shooting him.

Bill pointed out that he’d also done things he regretted and understood Sheila.

That’s why Bill knew that no matter what he did, he could never hurt Sheila with his own actions.

Steffy wondered what Bill was saying, so he said she wasn’t taking into account the emptiness in his heart.

Bill had hurt every woman he ever loved, so he needed someone who could handle him – a woman he couldn’t hurt and someone who would stay like Sheila.

Although Steffy urged Bill to promise her that he wouldn’t say anything to the police or anyone else about Taylor, Bill stood his ground on the deal.

If Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) pressed charges, then Taylor would pay for her crime.

Bill refused to let Sheila spend the rest of her life in prison, so he wouldn’t back down.

At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) showed up to see Finn and insisted she came as soon as she got updates on Sheila getting captured.

The conversation shifted to when Sheila attacked Li and caused her car explosion, which Li admitted wasn’t a good night.

Finn insisted he’d never forgive Sheila, but Li was thankful for everything Bill had done for them – including the fact that he was responsible for Sheila being back in custody.

In a prison visiting area, Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) appeared after pulling some strings to see Sheila’s beautiful face.

Although Mike was happy they could sort of be together now, Sheila insisted her days in that “hellhole” were numbered and hinted about a plan that didn’t involve an escape.

Mike argued that the sooner Sheila accepted her fate, the better off she’d be.

After Mike said he’d be thinking of Sheila in his cell, he urged her to think of them too and acted like maybe they’d be together for the rest of their lives.

Sheila assured Mike that wasn’t going to happen and mentioned she had connections of her own.

Soon after, Sheila had another visitor. It turned out to be Li, who couldn’t miss the opportunity to see Sheila in her natural habitat.

Sheila taunted Li right back and said Li’s timing was excellent since she was getting lonely.

Li thought Sheila should get used to it since it was judgment day and added that Sheila would be behind bars for the rest of her life.

Sheila stared at Li as she let out a creepy laugh and stomped her foot in amusement.
