Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) feels bad enough after turning off Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) phone and making her miss Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) calls about her dying mom.
Now when Stephanie sees Alex, all she can think about is how controlling he was and how she couldn’t tell Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) she loved her one last time.
Since Stephanie made it clear that her choice was final, Alex has accepted the breakup and is wallowing in his misery.
Stephanie was the woman of Alex’s dreams, so he feels like he’s destroyed his life at this point.
Of course, there’s always hope on Days! Whenever a DOOL character ends things for good, they often don’t mean it.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will return from the dead down the road, so that could certainly help quell Stephanie’s pain and anger.
However, Alex’s bigger problem may be Stephanie’s growing feelings for Chad.
Although Chad wasn’t ready to move on from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) back when Stephanie started dating Alex, he may be ready now.
There’s a good chance Stephanie and Chad’s spark will lead to some bedroom temptation again, so they may surrender to what they’re feeling this time around.
Will Alex get updates on Chad and Stephanie’s connection taking a steamy turn?
Alex might have a change of heart about accepting the split and show up at Stephanie’s door with a heartfelt plea for another shot.
In that case, it would be especially difficult for Alex to find Stephanie wearing Chad’s shirt or something along those lines.
Chad might even emerge shirtless from the bedroom if Days really wants to pour salt in the wound.
Regardless, Alex may get some devastating news and realize his opportunity with Stephanie has slipped away – at least for now.
Stephanie might move on with Chad in the not-too-distant future, but don’t count Alex out since this love triangle still seems to be going strong.
Days spoilers say Alex’s broken heart will become tough to bear, but find comfort with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) as they share some hot moments eventually.
